The Great White Throne Judgement
Posted : 27 Jun, 2013 11:05 AM

Brothers,

Listen to my conversation with my friend Scott about the Judgment Day:

Bahira Omar: Tell me also Scotty what is the White Throne of Judgement?

Scott: In Revelation 20:11-15?

The Great White Throne Judgment

11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Bahira Omar: What is that Scotty? Explain us pls.

Scott: Self explanatory really, It's His throne that we are all going to appear and bow before.

Bahira Omar: Right. Thank you. Do you want me to add something?

Scott: Go ahead.

Bahira Omar: There will be the judgment of the sheep and the goats or a judgment of the nations (Matthew 25:31-46).

The Son of Man Will Judge the Nations

31 When the Son of Man (the SON of GOD) comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.

37 Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You? 40 And the King will answer and say to them, Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.

41 Then He will also say to those on the left hand, Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.

44 Then they also will answer Him,[d] saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You? 45 Then He will answer them, saying, Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me. 46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.

Who are the sheep and the goats? Believers/Christians and unbelievers.

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

GREAT if your reward, Scotty! Jesus says in Revelation: KEEP your crown!

At this judgment, Christians will receive degrees of reward and crowns for their works or service to God.

Revelation 20:1115 God will judge even children!

The judgment of unbelievers: They are judged and sentenced to everlasting punishment in the Lake of Fire

The books that are opened (Revelation 20:12): contain records of everyones deeds or may be the Torah

Another book is opened, called the Book of Life (Revelation 20:12).

Book of Life (Revelation 20:12) determines whether a person will inherit eternal life with God or not.

Although Christians are held accountable for their actions, they are forgiven in Christ and their names were written in the Book of Life from the creation of the world (Revelation 17:8).

And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

But names of some Christians could be blotted out from the Book of Life if we live in sins.

First, Jesus Christ will be the Judge, all unbelievers will be judged by Christ.

The Bible is very clear that unbelievers are storing up wrath against themselves (Romans 2:5-11). Why?

5 But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6 who will render to each one according to his deeds: 7 eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; 8 but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousnessindignation and wrath, 9 tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; 10 but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 11 For there is no partiality with God.

Because unbelievers do NOT inherit the Kingdom of God. Their sins are NOT forgiven!

Each one of us will give an account to God. Live with God, Scotty! May your reward will be GREAT!

May your name will be found in the Book of Life and your family members will be written there too! Amen.

Scott: It's summed up in St John 3:1-36 (18).

18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3

John 3

The New Birth

3 There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. 2 This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.

3 Jesus answered and said to him, Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4 Nicodemus said to Him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mothers womb and be born?

5 Jesus answered, Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again. 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.

9 Nicodemus answered and said to Him, How can these things be?

10 Jesus answered and said to him, Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? 11 Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.[a] 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but[b] have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.

John the Baptist Exalts Christ

22 After these things Jesus and His disciples came into the land of Judea, and there He remained with them and baptized. 23 Now John also was baptizing in Aenon near Salim, because there was much water there. And they came and were baptized. 24 For John had not yet been thrown into prison.

25 Then there arose a dispute between some of Johns disciples and the Jews about purification. 26 And they came to John and said to him, Rabbi, He who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testifiedbehold, He is baptizing, and all are coming to Him!

27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven. 28 You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but, I have been sent before Him. 29 He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegrooms voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled. 30 He must increase, but I must decrease. 31 He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all. 32 And what He has seen and heard, that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony. 33 He who has received His testimony has certified that God is true. 34 For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure. 35 The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand. 36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.

Scott: Amen thank you and you likewise. John, hope you figure things out.

Bahira Omar: Amen. Thank you. May God save our John too. Amen.

Right. Do not forget to find out also what Orthodox Jews say about the Book of Life. You need to know that too.

Scott: First in Exodus 32:1-35 (32-33), Psalm 69:28, Daniel 12:1, Phil 4:3, Rev 3:5, 13:8, 17:8, 20:12,15.

Bahira Omar: Thank you Scotty. I will read that. But you need to find out ORAL TRADITION too! Please! You will like that!

Scott: Is it a Psalm?

Bahira Omar: Try to find it out. If you will fail, I will show you that. You will be impressed to know why rabbis say. You know Scotty, Orthodox Jews have Oral Traditions which were written in some books too...Which books?

What are these Oral Traditions? Hadith? Yes. Our Jewish Hadith if you will.

Just godly men taught what some of Scriptures mean....They are like our Jewish Tafsir. Search pls!

Scott: I don't know, can't find it at the moment. You tell me where they are referenced at.

Bahira Omar: The Oral Torah comprises the legal traditions that, according to tradition were transmitted orally from Mount Sinai, and were not written in the Torah. What is the Oral Torah? The oral Torah, oral Law, or oral tradition was given by God orally to Moses with the written Torah. This Oral Torah/tradition was passed down orally through the ages. Later it was codified and written in the Talmud. The Rabbis also conceived of the Oral Torah as an interpretive tradition, and not merely as memorized traditions. The "Oral Torah" was ultimately recorded in the Mishnah, the Talmud and Midrash. What are these books? The Mishnah or Mishna is the first major written redaction of the Jewish Oral traditions called the "Oral Torah". The Talmud is the Oral Law of Judaism.

Scott: Not sure about that because this is written in Exodus 24:7 and Deuteronomy 31:26.

Bahira Omar: The Talmud has two components: the Mishnah and the Gemara. Midrash is Jewish rabbinic sages to explain passages in the Tanakh (interpretation!). The whole Talmud consists of 63 tractates, and in standard print is over 6,200 pages long. The Talmud contains the opinions of thousands of rabbis on a variety of subjects, including law, ethics. The Talmud is the basis for all codes of rabbinic law and is much quoted in other rabbinic literature. When you will talk to rabbis you will quote them Talmud and even Midrash!

Scott: No wonder I've never heard of it.

Bahira Omar: You need to read Mishna too and use it in conversations with rabbis too! These books are like your Apocrypha! LOL I used these Scriptures, honey, when I proved how Jews are wrong. LOL You will use them soon too.

So, let's get back to the Book of Life. What this Oral Tradition says about it?

This is the book in which God records the names of every person who is destined for Heaven or the World to Come.

According to the Talmud it is open on Rosh Hashanah, as is its analog for the wicked, the Book of the Dead.

What is Rosh Hashanah? The New Year celebration.

Scott: I only rely on what is written in the Old and New Testaments about it.

Bahira Omar: The Mishnah contains the second known reference to Rosh Hashanah as the "day of judgment".

In the Talmud tractate on Rosh Hashanah, it states that three books of account are opened on Rosh Hashanah, wherein the fate of the wicked, the righteous, and those of an intermediate class are recorded.

Scott: Isn't it the day of atonement Exodus 30:1-10 (10), Leviticus 16:1-34 (29-34) 23:1-44 (26-32) 25:1-55 (9)

Bahira Omar: The names of the righteous are immediately inscribed in the Book of Life, and they are sealed "to live." SEALED!

The intermediate class are allowed a respite of ten days, until Yom Kippur, to reflect, repent and become righteous; the wicked are "blotted out of the book of the living forever."

Scott: Leviticus 27:1-34 (17-34), Numbers 15:1-31 (22-31; 25, 28), 29:1-40 (7-11), 36:1-13 (4) Deuteronomy 15:1-23?

Bahira Omar: Rosh Hashanah leads to Yom Kippur, which is described as "the day of judgment" and "the day of remembrance".

The Talmud provides three central ideas behind the day: "The Holy One said, 'on Rosh Hashanah recite before Me [verses of] Sovereignty, Remembrance, and Shofar blasts (malchuyot, zichronot, shofrot): Sovereignty so that you should make Me your King; Remembrance so that your remembrance should rise up before Me. And through what? Through the Shofar.'

Scott: The blowing of trumpets in Leviticus 23:1-44 (23-25 Numbers 29:1-40 (1-6). First Day of the Seventh Month.

Bahira Omar: NOTE Scotty:Talmud tractate on Rosh Hashanah states that three books of account are opened on Rosh Hashanah!!!!

Why? Because Rosh Hashanah leads to Yom Kippur (the day of judgment")! And Jews have to REPENT. But why?

Scott: I have no idea. I've seen nothing referencing this anywhere in the Old or New Testament.

Bahira Omar: Before the Yom Kippur (the day of judgement) Jews have to REPENT and ask God and PEOPLE to forgive their sins! Why?

Yes, ONLY Jews teach that God forgives sins ONLY against God .. and we have also to GET forgiveness of our sins from people if we committed sins against them!

Why sound of Shofar is heard on Rosh Hashana?

Scott: Leviticus 16:1-34 (16-34) explains it best. To be remembered before G-d.

Bahira Omar: Shofar-blowing is used on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Like sound of the Return of Jesus (Revelation)!

Do you remember the Last Trumpet (Revelation)?

So, Rosh Hashana makes us to REPENT because ONLY once a year all sins of Jews are forgiven on Yom Kippur!

Scott: Yes of course.

Bahira Omar: NOTE Scotty: According to Jewish tradition, God inscribes each person's fate for the coming year into a book! Into a book, the Book of Life, on Rosh Hashanah!!! And God waits until Yom Kippur to "seal" the verdict!!!

Please quote what is this Last Trumpet!

Jews try to amend his or her behavior and seek forgiveness for wrongs done against God and against human beings. The evening and day of Yom Kippur are set aside for public and private petitions and confessions of guilt! At the end of Yom Kippur, one hopes that they have been forgiven by God. If Jews repented not sinceely then they are NOT forgiven! And the they failed to get forgiveness of their sins! Thus they spent the om Kippur in vain! Scotty, this Oral Tradition is reasonable and I believe it.

Scott: 1 Corinthians 15:1-58 (51-54; 52)

52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory.

Bahira Omar: Do you remember that Jews kept these Traditions knowing that God gave them to Moses too.

Scott: They have to as an ordinance forever as it states.

Bahira Omar: Right! At the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. We will be resurrected and changed to meet Jesus upon His return!

What is this trumpet in Revelation?

This trumpet/shofar sound is the symbol of the Return of Christ! Like the Last Trumpet! Open Revelation pls!

Meanwhile listen pls to Shofar:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIccgdvVIoA&feature=related

Scott: LOL yes of course it is.

Bahira Omar: Revelation 11:15: Seventh Trumpet: The Kingdom of Jesus will be Proclaimed!

15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!

This is the Last Trumpet and our Shofar says that after this Trumpet Jesus RETURNS!

We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come. Who is this God who is to COME!? His name is The One who is and who was and who is to come- JESUS!

Jesus said: I am the First and the Last. I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. Revelation 1

Some special blessing is promised to those who study Revelation! You and me are BLESSED by God, Scotty! Thank you for the talk.

Scott: Thank you. Have a good night, G-d Bless You.

Bahira Omar: Thank you. Have a good day! Blessings.
