"ALL and THE WORLD" PART 1

It has been suggested many times here at CDFF that the word "ALL" means exactly that "ALL". So, let's examine that idea. This seems to be such a basic concept that even a child could reconcile it but since it still seems "confusing" to some, I am taking the time to address this point.
First, let's start with a crude example from everyday life:
"Johnny drank ALL of the soda" - Does this mean that Johnny drank every last drop of soda all across the world from the beginning of time until the end of time? Or..... is this comment restricted by some type of context? Such as Johnny drank all of the soda that was in the bottle? or perhaps in the refrigerator? or maybe in the Smith household?
Now, let's look at some passages of Scripture and ask this same question, does ALL mean ALL? Or does is the ALL restricted by context?
Mark 1:5 And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.
Did everyone in Judea go out to him? Every single man, woman, child etc in all of Judea?
Matthew 2:3-4
3 When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him;
4 and assembling all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born
Was every man, woman and child in Jerusalem troubled?
Luke 2:1-3
2 In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered.
2 This was the first registration when Quirinius was governor of Syria.
3 And all went to be registered, each to his own town.
Now, are we supposed to conclude from this verse that ALL THE WORLD is actually every man, woman and child from every nation all over the world? Or must ALL THE WORLD be used here in some restricted sense?
I could multiply passages to illustrate this point but I believe that the illustrations here are sufficient to illustrate my point.
