JESUS SAYS IN MATTHEW 12:50 "WHOEVER DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER IN HEAVEN IS MY MOTHER!"
Matthew 12:47-50: Someone told Jesus, "Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you." Jesus says, "Who is My *MOTHER*, and who are my brothers? Pointing to His disciples, He said, "HERE are My *MOTHER* and brothers. For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and MOTHER!"
JESUS SAYS IN MARK 3:34, "WHOEVER DOES GOD'S WILL IS MY MOTHER!"
Mark 3:31-34: Then Jesus' *MOTHER* and Brothers arrived. Standing outside... A crowd was sitting around Him, and they told Him, "Your *MOTHER* and brothers are outside looking for you." "Who are My mother and my brothers?" Jesus asked. Then He looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, "HERE IS MY *MOTHER* and my brothers! Whoever does God's will is my brother and sister and *MOTHER*!"
JESUS SAYS IN LUKE 8:21, "MY *MOTHER* AND BROTHERS ARE THOSE WHO HEAR GOD'S WORD AND PUT IT INTO PRACTICE!"
Luke 8:20,21: Someone told Him {Jesus} "Your *MOTHER* and brothers are standing outside, wanting to see You." Jesus repied, "My *MOTHER* and brothers are those who hear God's Word and put it into practice!!"
Actually Jesus never called Mary His mother and just before His eternal sacrifice called Mary "dear woman" instead of *MOTHER* in John 19:26,27; and told her that John was now her son, and told John that Mary was now his mother and from that time on John took her into his home.
Also, Jesus is called the "SON of David" 17 times in the NT, and in Revelation 22:16: Jesus says, "I am the OFFSPRING of David!!
The Roman Catholic Church claims:
"The Blessed Virgin Mary heard the word of God and put it into practice more than any human before or since, except for Jesus Himself. That is one of the many reasons we venerate Mary as much as we do."
Actually, this is a ridiclous claim since the good works of Mary are not even mentioned once in God's Word after the birth of Jesus and Mary is not even mentioned once in God's Word after Acts 1:14. If the veneration of Mary was an important part of Church Doctrine you would think this would be mentioned at least once in the inspired letters of Paul, Peter, James and John in the last 22 books of the NT. Whereas, the good works of David, Moses and Paul are mentioned hundreds of times in God's Word!!

The Roman Catholic Church claims:
The "brothers of the Lord Jesus" mentioned in scripture are really Jesus' "COUSINS" since there is no word for "COUSINS" in Aramaic; and that Mary was a *SINLESS VIRGIN* because a "Divine Pope" said so.
However, the New Testament was written in inspired Greek which has an inspired word for cousins which is "ANEPSIS". Colossians 4:10: Paul said, "My fellow prisoner Aristarchus sends you his greetings, as does Mark, the **COUSIN** {Greek-ANEPSIS} of Barnabas!!"
There is no need for all this wrangling to support an erroneous theological position concocted in the dark ages by dualistic philosophers that had taken control of the Roman Catholic Church. The Bible says what it means and means what it says: Jesus did indeed have brothers. His mother lost her virginity sometime after He was born. That's why the Bible very clearly states that Joseph �kept her a virgin until she gave birth to a Son...� (Matthew 1:25, NASB).
Matthew 1:24,25 in the NIV says, " When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord commanded and took Mary home to be his wife. But he had no UNION with her **UNTIL** she gave birth to a son.
That means Joseph didn't keep her a virgin forever, but until some time after she had given birth to Jesus. The fact that Mary indulged in sex with her husband after Jesus was born does not in any way diminish from who she was; but to claim that her having sex diminished her, as Roman Catholicism does, is an insult to Mary.
And a married woman having sex with her husband is not a sin as per I Corinthians 7:3-5 below and a woman who does not have sex with her husband is definately SINNING !!
I Corinthians 7:3-5: "The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife and LIKEWISE THE WIFE TO HER HUSBAND! The wife's body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husband's body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife. DO NOT DEPRIVE EACH OTHER except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer!"
Finally, the entire New Testament is in Greek which is the most precise language in the world and God chose this most precise inspired Greek for the New Testament.
Now, Greek does indeed have a word for "cousin," "ANEPSIS", which is used in Colossians 4:10 above to describe the relationship between Barnabas and Mark. Paul, who wrote Colossians, and evidently knew the word for "cousin", did not apply it to James, the Lord's "brother", in Galatians 1:19: Paul said "I saw none of the other apostles--only James, the Lord's BROTHER!"
Matthew, Mark and Luke also wrote their inspired gospels in Greek, and they certainly had a inspired word for "cousin" at their disposal. They didn't use it in the verses below because it was inaccurate since these were obviously Jesus' real brothers.
Matthew 6:6,9-11: Jesus says, �When you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your **Father**, who is unseen. Then your **Father**, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you ...This then is how you should pray: �Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be your name, your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven!" Luke 11:4 adds that only the Father can "Forgive us our sins.....� Is there even one instance where a believer prayed to someone other than the **Father** in the OT or the NT?? Answer; ZERO!
What church had its evil leader decree that it is OK to pray to and worship Mary, a human being, who was a SINLESS VIRGIN and their priests have Divine Power to forgive sins??
You will note that Mary is not even mentioned once in God's Word after Acts 1. To say that Mary was a sinless virgin without other children contradicts God's Sacred Word many times. And to say that we should pray to anyone but the Father in Jesus name is absolute Satanic blasphemy.
The claim of the Lord Jesus in Luke 8:21 that "That my *MOTHER* and brothers are those who hear God's Word and put it into practice!" is confirmed in many places including John 14:21,23,24: Jesus says, "Whoever has My commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves Me. He who loves Me will be loved by My Father and I will love him...If anyone loves Me, He will obey My teaching. My Father will love him and We will make Our home with him. He who does not love Me will not obey My teaching. These Words you hear are not My own, they belong to the Father who sent Me!"

John 15:9,10" Jesus says, "As the Father **LOVED** Me, so I have **LOVED** you!! Now remain in My **LOVE**. **IF YOU OBEY MY COMMANDS**, you will remain in My **LOVE**, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in His **LOVE**!"
John 14:21,23: Jesus says, "Whoever has My commands and obeys them, he is the one who **LOVES** Me! He who loves Me will be **LOVED** by My Father, and I will **LOVE** him....If anyone **LOVES** Me, he will obey My teaching. My Father will **LOVE** him, and we will come to him and make Our home with him! ... These Words hear are not My own; they belong to the Father who sent Me!"
This confirms Matthew 12:50 above: when Jesus says, "Whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My *MOTHER* and brothers!"
And so Jesus must have **MILLIONS OF MOTHERS**!!!!
Acts 17:11: Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and EXAMINED the SCRIPTURES *EVERY DAY*!!
James 1:22,25: Do not merely listen to the Word, and so deceive yourselves. **DO WHAT IT SAYS!! This confirms Luke 8:21 above when Jesus says, "My *MOTHER* and brothers are those who hear God's Word and put in into practice!"
God's born again saints don't have to memorize the Westminster Confession or Calvin's Instuitues. They just need to read God's Word and then DO WHAT IT SAYS!!!!
I John 2:3-5: We know we have come to know Him {Jesus} **IF WE OBEY HIS COMMANDS**. The man who says, "I know Him," but does not do what He commands is a liar and the truth is not in him. But **IF** anyone obeys His Word, God's love is truly made complete in him.
THE GREAT COMMISSION: Matthew 28:18-20: Jesus says, �All authority in heaven and on *EARTH has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of *ALL NATIONS*...teaching them to **OBEY EVERYTHING** I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very *END OF THE AGE*!�
Ephesians 4:11-16: It was He {Jesus} who gives some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.... Speaking the Truth in **LOVE**, we will in all things grow up into Him, who is the Head, that is Christ. From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament grows and builds itself up in **LOVE**, as each part does its work!
IN ADDITION TO JESUS AND HIS FATHER MAKING THEIR HOME WITH US; ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS GOD'S SAINTS DO WHAT THE NEW COVENANT SAYS IS BECAUSE OF THE COUNTLESS ETERNAL **REWARDS** THEY CAN *EARN* FOR OBEYING WITH LOVE AND GOD'S HELP THE APPROXIMATELY 400 COMMANDS OF THE NEW COVENANT!!!
One of the many problems with the Calvinistic Tulip is that of emphasis. Most Calvinists talk of the perseverance of the saints and never talk about the many eternal rewards a saint can **EARN**; rather they say all our good works are all predestined for the glory of God and we will all get the same eternal rewards.
2 Peter 1:5-11: Make every effort to add to you faith {A FREE GIFT} goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness and **LOVE**. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective...and will make your calling and election sure...and you will receive a *RICH WELCOME* into our Eternal Kingdom of Jesus Christ!
By saying *REWARDS* are not *EARNED* by the saints contradicts over 50 passages from the inspired Words of God and removes one of the most important incentives for obeying all of the NT commands with love with the hope countless eternal *REWARDS* for faithful and loving service!!
Daniel 12:3: Those who impart wisdom {NIV} will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness. like the stars for ever and ever!
Revelation 2:18; 3:21: Jesus says, "To him who overcomes I will give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it....And I will give the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne."
Jesus says, "At the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne...Everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for My sake will receive 100 times as much !!" Matthew 19:28,29
SALVATION IS 100% FREE BUT HEAVENLY REWARDS ARE 100% EARNED:
Hebrews 11:1,6: Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see....And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He **REWARDS** those who earnestly seek Him!!
Ephesians 6:8: Serve wholeheartedly , as if you were serving the Lord, not men, because you know that the Lord will **REWARD** everyone for what ever good he does!.
Revelation 22:12 Jesus says, �Behold I am coming soon! My **REWARD** is with Me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done!�
Matthew 16:27: Jesus says, �The Son of Man is going to come in His Father's glory with His angels and THEN He will **REWARD** each person according to what he has done!�
2 Corinthians 5:9,10: We make it our goal to please Him... for we must all appear before the Judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
1 Corinthians 3:13-15: His work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. If what he has built survives , he will receive his **REWARD**. If it is burned up he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.
Colossians 3:23-25: Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, siince you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a **REWARD**. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for his wrong, and there is no favoritism.
Hebrews 10:32-36: Remember those earlier days after you had received the Light, when you stood your ground in a great contest in the face of suffering. Sometimes you were publicaly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated. You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions. So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly **REWARDED**. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you receive what He has promised!!!
