Jesus says "Don't you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him unclean!!!" Mark 7:18
Genesis 1:29,30; God said, I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to *ALL* the beasts of the earth and *ALL* the birds of the air and *ALL* the creatures that move on the ground-*EVERYTHING* that has the breath of life in it and every green plant for *FOOD*!"
Genesis 9:2,3: God said to Noah after the flood, "The fear and dread of you will fall upon *ALL* the beasts of the earth and *ALL* the birds of the air, upon *EVERY* creature that moves along the ground, and upon *ALL* the fish of the sea; they are given into your hands. *EVERYTHING* that lives and moves will be **FOOD FOR YOU**! Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you *EVERYTHING*
And so the forbidding to eat many animals in the Levitical diet was just TEMPORARY until the New Covenant of Jesus which is the same as the first 2 Divine Covenants in Genesis 1 and Genesis 9 above!
And these four inspired passages in the Word of God are part of the NEW COVENANT which is the same as God's first 2 Covenants in Genesis 1 and Genesis 9 above!!!!
The Father and Jesus both declared ALL FOODS CLEAN !!!
Acts 10:9-15 Peter went up to the roof to pray. He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being prepared, he fell into a trance. He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles of the earth and birds of the air. Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat." "Surely not Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure or unclean." The voice spoke to him a second time, "Do not call anything impure that God {The Father and The Lord, Jesus in Mark 7:19} has made clean!!"
Mark 7:18,19: Jesus says, "Are you so dull?" He asked. "Don't you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him 'unclean'? For it doesn't go into his heart but into his stomach, and then out of his body." In saying this. Jesus declared ALL FOODS "CLEAN!"
Colossians 2:16,17: Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you **EAT** or drink, or with regard to a religous festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a *SHADOW* of the things that were to come, the reality, however, is found in Christ!!!
I Corinthians 10:25: Eat ***ANYTHING*** sold in the *MEAT* market without raising questions of conscience. for, "The earth is the Lord's and everything in it!"
God would not have ordered Peter to eat animals and birds if it was unhealthy. Would God also order EVERYONE in Israel to eat the Passover lamb if it was unhealthy!! There is no evidence that meat is unhealthy if you take out the blood as God commanded and by cooking it well done.
Mark 7:18,19: Jesus says, "Are you so dull?" He asked. "Don't you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him 'unclean'? There are many who say that meats like ham, lobster and shrimp should not be eaten since they are forbidden in Old Testament Law.
Galatians 2:14-16,20,21; 3:2,5,10-13;23-25: Paul said, When I saw that they were not acting in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter in front of them all, "You are a Jew, yet you live like a Gentile and not like a Jew. How is it, then that you force Gentiles to follow Jewish customs? We who are Jews by birth and not 'Gentile sinners' know that a man is NOT justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified.!"
Galatians 2:20,21: The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"
Galatians 3:10-13: "All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written "Cursed is everyonewho does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law." Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, "The righteous will live by faith." The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, "The man who does these things will live by them." Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us!
Galatians 3:23-25: "Before faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, *WE* ARE NO LONGER UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE LAW!!"
Hebrews 8:8,9,13: "The time is coming." says the Lord, "when I will make a New Covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah".... By calling this Covenant "NEW", He has made the first one OBSOLETE; and what is OBSOLETE and aging will soon disappear."
Hebrews 8:6: But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which He is Mediator is SUPERIOR TO THE OLD ONE, and it is founded on better promises.
Colossians 2:16,17: Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you **EAT** or drink, or with regard to a religous festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a *SHADOW* of the things that were to come, the reality, however, is found in Christ!!!
All of the OT sabbath laws have been eliminated. All of the OT sacrifical and temple laws have been eliminated. All of the stoning to death laws for breaking the law have been eliminated. All of the laws concerning an eye for an eye and making oaths have been eliminated. Circumcision laws have been eliminated. Loving one another as Jesus loved us has replaced loving one another as you love yourself.
Their about 400 NT laws to be obeyed with *LOVE* in the hope of countless eternal rewards for faithful and loving service has replaced the 613 OT laws.

Romans 14:2,3,20: One man's faith allows him to eat everything, but another man whose *FAITH IS WEAK* eats only vegetables. The man who eats everything must not look down on him who does not, and the man who does not eat everything **MUST NOT* condemn the man who does....ALL FOOD IS **CLEAN**, but it is wrong for a man to eat anything that causes someone to stumble.
I was a missionary in Isarel and if I am witnessing to unsaved Jews or Muslims or 7th Day Adventists it would not be right to eat ham or shrimp in front of them.
Colossians 2:16,17: Therefore *DO NOT LET ANYONE JUDGE YOU* by what you **EAT** or drink, or with regard to a religous festival, a New Moon celebration or a *SABBATH DAY*. These are a *SHADOW* of the things that were to come, the reality, however, is found in Christ!!!

This statement is fraught with errors. I have no idea where you get the FALSE concepts and ideas that you continuously promote on this forum. However, I would counsel you to gain understanding before you continue.
Deut. 4:2
1 NOW therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you.
2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
Matt. 5
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Jas 3:1
Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness.

Those that teach others to break the commandments will be the least in the Kingdom of Heaven.
The definition of "food" is relative. To the Israelite, pig is not food. Just as mercury or antifreeze is not "food". Think about what you are suggesting. Is cannnibalism ok? That is what you seem to believe. All "foods" are clean, but what is food? Food is defined as those things which we may eat. According to the New Testament, these are "sanctified by the word of God", that "word of God" is the Old Testament, since the New Testament didn't exist then.
Colossians 2:13-17 Explained:
Col 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; Col 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Col 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body of Christ.
These verses are often used to show that the Old Testament was nailed to the cross. But a careful reading of these verses in Greek shows that it was man-made laws that Yahshua nailed to the cross. The word translated "ordinances" in verse 14 is the Greek word "dogma". Dogma means "a man-made law". Luke 2:1 is helpful in understanding the definition of a "dogma".
Luk 2:1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree(dogma) from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
The word translated "decree" is "dogma".
However, not all dogma are bad. It was only the dogma that was against us, contrary to us, that was nailed to the cross. That is, any man-made law that contradicts the Holy Law of YaHWeH. In Paul's days, Jewish leaders had added many man-made laws that were a severe burden to believers in YaHWeH. Yahshua Himself broke many of these man-made laws(dogma), and the Jewish leaders hated Him for this. We are supposed to beware of the "leaven of the Pharisees". This leaven includes false doctrine. Paul was a "Pharisee of Pharisees", so he followed the leaven(dogma) of the Pharisees. After Paul converted, he knew that Pharisee dogma contained false doctrine, that is why he said that Yahshua "nailed it to the cross".
In verse 2:16, Paul told the Colossians not to let anyone judge them because they were now keeping Holy Days. Colosse is in modern day Page 3
Holy Days (2) Turkey. The Colossians were uncircumcised(verse 13); they were not Jews. Since Colosse was a Gentile region, the Gentiles wouldn't judge the Colossians for NOT keeping the Holy Days, instead, the Colossian Christians were judged by the Gentiles because they WERE keeping the Holy Days. Paul encouraged them to not let anyone judge them because they were now keeping YaHWeH's commanded, eternal, Holy Days.
Verse 17 states that Holy Days and the weekly Sabbath days ARE a shadow of things to come. Some people like to change this verse by removing the word "are" and inserting the word "were". But the clear truth is that the Holy Days and Sabbath ARE a shadow of things yet to come. Since they still ARE a shadow, they still apply.
