LINGUISTICS: Origine of all languages

Brothers,

Let's consider the origin of all languages.

I asked John the other day:

"John do not forget to share your thoughts about the "mother-language"....

John, was what the "mother-language"? What do you think? Was it Hebrew? What was the language of Adam?"

God confused the languages at the Tower of Babel to enforce His command for humanity to spread throughout the entire world. May be during that time God created the different races of humanity at the Tower of Babel causing the changes in their DNA. In actuality, there is only one race-the human race. It is possible that God made genetic changes to humanity to better enable people to survive in different ecologies, such as the darker skin of Africans being better equipped genetically to survive the excessive heat in Africa. How? This is what we call evolution/adaptation.... Closer inbreeding took place in the different groups of people and in time certain features were emphasized in these different groups.

RESPONSE of JOHN: "I dont have any thoughts on it. It's pure speculation. God never said he preserved one language. How many generations was Abraham from the dispersion? He obviously came from area where everyone spoke the same language and he had no trouble speaking with Egyptians and other people in that land including the woman in Jericho."

Ok, guys let's now consider the origin of all languages and what God said us about languages?.Believe me it is a VERY interesting issue!

The issue was not the tower, because building a tower was not a way to get to God, or heaven.

The issue was that Nimrod a great grandson of Noah through Cush, was building a city to keep all the people together, rather than dispersing over the earth. The idea that government becomes centralized and all look to government to be the god of their own making.

The word tells us that the people were of one language and one speech the word speech speaking of same ideas/philosophy/religion. The dispersing of the people was not only changing of language but also the dispersing of ideas/religion. In other words God caused confusion against those who were in disobedience to His commands to populate the whole earth.

I am convinced that the tower itself would be destroyed by itself through the law of entropy, which simply means something not looked after would eventually decay. It is known that a house left empty will decay at a greater rate that if it was occupied and not looked after.

A people centralized contrary to God's laws were the threat to mankind and God's plans and purposes for the earth.

There aim was to make a name for themselves and nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
