What helps us understand the Scriptures properly is if we keep the plan of God as stated in the beginning in Genesis 1:26�27 and use them as parameters that all doctrine coming from the Scriptures must contribute towards the completion of.
Simply put, what we learn from these verses and conclusion of the garden story is man was first made in the image of God, will at some point in time appear in both the image and likeness of God. God is a spirit who has a soul, and every person is born with a spirit that will produce a soul coming from this combination of human flesh and spirit together. In other words from our spirit of man comes the soul man that consists of the mind, will, and emotions that starts taking form at day one of a person's life while still in the womb.
However, to become both in the image and likeness of God means to have the same spirit and soul of God that has appeared in the exact form only one time on earth; as seen in God's Son, Jesus Christ.
This change of going from the image of God, to the image and likeness of God gets its start when one receives the grafted word of God planted in their heart as the seed of God. Should the person continue in obedience to the Scriptures they will be baptized with the Holy Spirit that supplies the necessary water and heat for the seed to germinate and take root within the person. (My allegory)
This is the process of the "word being made flesh".
Jesus had the spirit of God within Him from the time of the conception of the Son of God within the virgin womb of Mary. However, at the Baptism of Jesus when the spirit in the form of a dove is seen descending upon Jesus, is duplicated for us when we see the bride adorned for her husband coming down from heaven to earth in Revelation 22 that concludes with the angels saying the tabernacle of God is now with man.
Her "husband" is those with the Holy Spirit who have "learned obedience" and choose the good are "places prepared" on earth who at this time are being given their inheritance in the form of the mind of Christ that Paul exhorts us to gain. AKA the manifestation of the sons of God (Ro.8:19)

Because we all can make errors in our understanding and even under influence of other people.

I recall how I was glad to read "biblical" statements of one Christian Jew regarding the Bible prophecies and politics and only LATER when I opened this prophecy verse to read it again and meditate on it, I clearly saw that what he said is in direct CONTRADICTION to the words of God!
How I could NOT see that! How could I believe him and NOT God?!!!!
Good that I realized that and changed my mind.
That is why I say:
Put aside your speculations which CONTRADICT to the HOLY words of God and Put on the NEW man who is RENEWED in KNOWLEDGE according to the image of Him (the SON of God) who created him!

Because the Judge Jesus is going to judge us all for ANY word we utter in teaching or interpretation and our understanding.
We all know that.
Now we have to be responsible for our knowledge and teaching and its application in our life.
Actually I think your English is pretty good although you continue to have a problem spelling my name.
It is not just a matter of adding or subtracting from the Bible but understanding the Word of God written in a series of allegories and metaphors that when taken only in a literal view can cause a lot of false doctrines to come forth.
For instance take the doctrine of the rapture that was never taught in the church before the mid-1800s when a woman in Scotland whose mental stability was questioned revealed a vision she had that in turn was spread by a preacher named Darby. This in turn unleashed a flood of preachers coming into my country with a new doctrine being taught in the church of it being physically taken off the earth to meet Jesus in the clouds.
Before this it was generally understood within the Protestant churches that we were to be transformed into the image of Jesus Christ. This is witnessed in the words of George Washington who was the first president of my country who spoke the following words some 100 years before Christianity began to be swept away by the flood of the doctrine of the rapture.
�Oh, eternal and everlasting God, direct my thoughts, words and work. Wash away my sins in the immaculate blood of the lamb and purge my heart by the Holy Spirit. Daily, frame me more and more in the likeness of thy son, Jesus Christ, that living in thy fear, and dying in thy favor, I may in thy appointed time attain the resurrection of the justified unto eternal life. The New Testament Jews knew the title "Son of David" as another title for the Messiah. But do not forget that Joseph is called the "son of David" too in Matthew 1:20. That means that he was a direct descendant of David! Moreover, Jesus is the "Son of David" through Mary too (the genealogical line of Luke 3)!
Matthew 1:1?17 begins the Gospel, "A record of the origin of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham: Abraham begot Isaac" and continues on until "and Jacob begot Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ."
Jesus is presented first and foremost as the long-awaited Messiah, who was expected to be a descendant and heir of King David, so the genealogy serves the essential purpose of demonstrating this line of descent.
Matthew begins by calling Jesus "Son of David", indicating His royal origin, and also "son of Abraham", indicating that He was a Jew. "Son" means descendant, calling to mind the promises God made to David and to Abraham.

Our God said otherwise in the HOLY Bible. We respect this Book/ancient Scripture, respecting its Author -> God.
