Criticism and being critical of others

Hello everyone:

I would like to ask why are the so called christians so very critical about what people post here.

Most of those being critical probably have not investigated the Word of GOD concerning the topic others post, and they show themselves being ignorant and judging others of not understanding the Word of GOD.

Had these same people ACTUALLY taken time to investigate the Word of GOD they might actually be singing a different tune, yet they will sit in front of their TV,listen to what a man tells them, yet never turn the pages of the Scriptures to learn truth.

Maybe this is the reason the body of Messiah is divided.weak and pathetic.

Most go to the club Sunday morning and pay their weekly club dues just to have a man tell them what he believes the Scriptures say, instead of teaching the people how to read the Word for themselves.

Not venting, just speak truth which most will not want to be hearing.

Shalom

As long as Christianity is a religion and Christians follow the religion they have learned from they will behave this way. They are taught this behavior by the men in the pulpits, the books they read, the teachers in the Sunday Schools and the preachers on TV. As long as there is a predisposed political/religious agenda influencing their doctrine they will wallow in their dogmas of self righteousness and twisted confusion. We will always have the inquisitors, pillagers and conquering malcontents.

Thankfully, there are some people in this forum that are much more willing to have a reasonable discussion and they are also wise advisers and teachable saints. As long as we don't think we are experts on the interpretation of the Bible, have our learning cap on and pay attention, we can all learn from each other. If, instead, we are closed minded and have our dunce cap on we will learn nothing and miss out on being a fully developed, spiritual being. Iron sharpens iron but dullards ruin everything.

When these critical and judgmental souls learn to give up their religion, stop being "Christians", and turn their hearts and ears toward Truth in Jesus they will be able to hear the True message of the Bible. They will be the ones who have ears to hear and will realize that the Bible is not the whole story of how things work in the world and the universe. Hopefully they will understand there is much more to spiritual truth than can be found in the Bible and will be made free of their religion. Jesus made it clear that there is more to being spiritual than knowing, analyzing and obeying the law. They will become Christ-like with the power of the Spirit of Christ and communicate the peace, joy and love of the Spirit just as Jesus did.

I think we need the conflicts. We need these judgmental and critical people because they put us in the position of having to understand more about ourselves. We will learn patience and find a way in which we may respond with love and wisdom. If we attack them back then we are no better than they and we fall into the snare that is set for us. Say your piece. Put it out there and let what happens happen. After all, they are only discussing religion and since religion only makes it necessary for us to not have to understand the rest of the universe, their criticisms are nothing more than the expression of their own lack of understanding.

Take the narrow gate to the high ground. Transcend religion in the way that Jesus taught us. Live from your spirit and not your mind. Let everything that would distract you from the knowledge of God fall by the wayside and focus on your spiritual ascension to the Holiest of Spirits and the Wisest of Hearts. Then pick your battles wisely and don't feed your pearls to the pigs.

Shalom

Hi SBD:

I agree with you,we need both to be encouraged, and also need the criticism, along with the nasty word PERSECUTION; without these growth can be slow.

Thanks for your reply

So what is your witness or proof of you "being right"?

It is easy to condemn tradition as you have done, but are you offering a solution to the problem?

Not that I can see!

I agree with you that there is a problem in the church today whose members are still stuck in Babylon where God's chosen were held in bondage to worshipping the image of the beast. However, to take this conversation further the simple truth is; if you do not have a solution you are still part of the problem!........ Fair enough?

The only hint of a solution I hear coming from you has been, (as I see and hear coming from you and please forgive and correct me if I have misinterpreted your words) is grace is both unmerited but also unstoppable...... and that the sin that matters is the sin of unbelief.

But what according to you is the EXACT sin of unbelief?

I have already shown you're teaching of Adam suffering from the sin of unbelief is in error, and is contrary to what the Bible teaches.......... So what is the sin of unbelief the rest of us here are suffering from that apparently you do not feel you are under, and is giving you the right to condemn others here?
