Hello everyone:
Most of the christians have probably heard that GOD sees them perfect in Christ, IF this is so then why the need for Messiah Yeshua being at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us / ME.
IF GOD Almighty sees me in Christ as sinless, why than do i need an advocate with the Father?
(LITV) My little children, I write these things to you so that you do not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
What do you believe, please show with the Scriptures.

We are not seen as sinless until "after" we are called to him. Prior to that, we have faith that he will call us and give the promise of eternal life whether at the time of his arrival we are alive or dead.
WE ALL FALL SHORT that is why we need an advocate.
Rev 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Rev 7:15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

Philippians 3 :12-14
12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Hi dmaxwel1:
Thank you for your response.
I agree with the Word of YHWH in Philippian 3,that we press frwar as we are not perfect in this life, even as written in the Word.
1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1Co 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1Co 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
1Co 15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
1Co 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
To have people teaching that GOD Almighty sees us as already being perfect in Messiah has helped to divide the body of believers, not to bring unity which Yeshua had prayed for.
John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
Instead of people becoming more aware of their sinfulness, and their need for FAITHING into Messiah, they seem to become more SELF centered thinking first about their own so called holiness, while forsaking the need for proclaiming the Gospel.
As the Holy Spirit brings me into a more fuller understanding in the light of the Gospel; will i see more of my sinful nature being exposed,thus bringing me to depending upon Messiah even more;
OR will i become more consumed with trying to be holy, and forget about the needs of others, and not proclaim the Gospel of Messiah.
One brings me into being broken, having my sinful nature being exposed in the light of the Gospel of the Grace of GOD in Yeshua.
The other makes me proud, arrogant and more concerned about myself instead of being concerned for others especially those that are lost.
