Admin	What is a 'worship' leader; what is a 'worship' band ? Posted : 15 Jan, 2014 06:54 AM Hello everyone: I do not want to sound as though i happen to be ignorant,yet where in the NEW COVENANT would there be any mention of a so called 'worship leader' or 'worship band'. This is where those whom follow what is right in their own eyes, "feel" all agape over. Anything to bring in those "seekers". It would be those whom do not want to follow after God and his word, those whom like to twist and add to scripture to worship their idols. Post Reply

Oh by the way,i normalyl am at work until later,yet i had jury selection this morning and was not picked because i was a bad boy some years back. No forgiveness with the laws of man,Yet with Messiah FORGIVNESS forever. Yep,you are correct,yet if there is no human worship leader,and no worship band,then who leads people to worship Messiah; And is this persons authority being usurped by the human so called worship leader ? If the REAL worship leaders authority is being usurped,then is the so called 'church' in sin ? Is the human worship leader usurping the Authority , and position / function of the Holy Spirit ? If so why is there no confessing of this unbelief of Scripture,and trusting Messiah by repenting and gathering according to the Scriptures. 1 Corinthians 11:19 thru 1 Corinthians 14:33. Not venting just proclaiming what is written in the Word of YHWH. Agape' Post Reply

Posted : 15 Jan, 2014 12:48 PM In the church I attend there is no "worship leader"...there are folks of all ages of the congregation that play instruments and sing...including the Pastors spouse. No one person leads the group because they all under the supervision of the Holy Spirit of God...the group puts together the order of the play list...We sing old time Hymms which I really like and then some simple newer songs...we don't have to participate at all...however...were 2 or 3 are gathered together...the LORD is in the mist of it...Guaranteed!!!...I cant carry a tune in a bucket but sing anyway..even clap sometimes :o) xo Post Reply

Where the Spirit of the LORD is,there is Freedom / liberty. Whom the Son sets free they are free indeed. I also cannot sing,so i sing around;around the corner so others cannot hear,haha. When believers gather together,it is still the individul that is responsible to bring to the meeting that which the Holy Spirit has given that person to bring; 1Co 14:26 Then what is it, brothers? When you come together, each one of you has a psalm, he has a teaching, he has a language, he has a revelation, he has an interpretation. Let all things be for building up. 1Co 14:27 If one speaks in a language, let it be by two or three at the most, and in turn, also let one interpret. 1Co 14:28 And if there is no interpreter, let him be silent in the assembly, and let him speak to himself and to God. 1Co 14:29 And if there are two or three prophets, let them speak, and let the others discern. 1Co 14:30 But if a revelation is revealed to another sitting by, let the first be silent. 1Co 14:31 For you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be encouraged. 1Co 14:32 And the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets. 1Co 14:33 For God is not of confusion, but of peace, as in all the assemblies of the saints. The individual is lost and so is TRUE Worship in Spirit and truth, when the so called 'worship leader' usurps the authority of the BODY of Messiah. May i ask,then do you believe that another person is responsible for how,when,where,and why you are to be worshipping Messiah Yeshua. Are you saying that you NEED someone other than the Holy Spirit to EMPOWER you to be worshipping Messiah is spirit and truth. That is what 'CULTS' do. Shalom Post Reply
