And this is the Word that was preached to you!

The Roman Catholic Church claims that the Church and not God's Word is the foundation of Truth and that because Jesus gave 11 of His Apostles the power to forgive sins that this shows that all Roman Catholic priests also have that power??????



I Peter 1:22-25: Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the Truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart. For you have been born again, not of perishabele seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring Word of God {And not through the Church!} For all men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the Word of the Lord stands forever. And this is the Word that was preached to you!



Luke 9:26: Jesus says, If anyone is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in His glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels!"



For example Matthew 6:6,9,10: Jesus commands, "But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and *PRAY TO YOUR FATHER*, who is unseen. Then your FATHER will reward you...This, then, is how you should pray: 'Our *FATHER IN HEAVEN*, hallowed be your name, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven!!" {Luke 11:4 adds "*FATHER* forgive us our sins for we forgive everyone who sins against us}!"



Matthew 6:14,15: Jesus says, "For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly *FATHER* will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins your **FATHER** will not forgive your sins!"



Matthew 23:9,10 Jesus commands, "Do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have **ONE FATHER**, and He is in Heaven!!" {Spiritual **FATHER** implied}



And so if anyone knowingly teaches and *ADDS* that you can pray to anyone other than the *FATHER IN HEAVEN* in Jesus name he has committed an unpardonable sin. And since there is not one verse in all of God's Word which even implies that you should pray to anyone else besides *YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN*!!



And if anyone teaches that it is Ok to call anyone other than OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN our spiritual father or holy father he has contradicted the command of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and will be "CONDEMNED ON THE LAST DAY!!"



I John 2:3-5: We know that we have come to know Him {Jesus} **IF** we obey His commands! The man who says, "I know Him," but does not do what He commands is a liar, and the Truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys His Word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in Him.



Dueteronomy 4:2: God says, "DO not **ADD* to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you!"



Dueteronomy 18:19,20: God said to Moses, "I will raise for them a Prophet like you from among their brothers, I will put My words in His mouth, and He will tell them everything I command Him. If anyone does not listen to My words that the Prophet speaks in My Name I Myself will call him to account!"



John 14:21,23-26: Jesus says, "Whoever has My commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him...If anyone loves Me, he will obey My teaching. My Father will love him, and We will make Our home with him. He who does not love Me will not obey My teaching. All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you!"



Matthew 7:21: Jesus says, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord.' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven!"



Luke 9:26: Jesus says, If anyone is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in His glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels!"



John 12:48: Jesus says, ""There is a Judge for the one who rejects Me and does not accept My Words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him on the Last Day!"



Ephesians 1:20-22: The Father raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms, FAR ABOVE all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title than can be given, not only in the PRESENT AGE but also in the one to come. And God placed ALL THINGS under His feet and appointed HIM {NOT popes} to be the **HEAD** OVER EVERYTHING FOR THE CHURCH, which is HIS BODY, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way!!



Matthew 17:17: Jesus prayed to the One and ONLY Father, "Sancticy them by the Truth, YOUR WORD IS TRUTH!!!"



Matthew 28:19-20: Jesus says, "ALL AUTHORITY in heaven and on earth has been give to ME {Which would exclude all Popes} Therefore go and make disciples of all nations....teaching them to obey **EVERYTHING** I have commanded you!!"
