Race of life

REMEMBER: The Christian life is a call to glory and virtue; that means a call to a life of honour, dignity and excellence!
EMEMBER: your life shall always be one of honour, dignity and excellence because God commands us to live that way!
For if we died with Him (JESUS), We shall also live with Him. 12 If we endure, We shall also REIGN with Him.
If we deny Him (the SON of God), He also will deny us. 13 If we are faithless, He (JESUS) remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.
2 Timothy 2 : 19-26 Whoever does not do righteousness is not of God, as well as who does NOT love his brother, 1 Jn 3:10.
God bless Your words to us.
Lord, Cleanse me and I will be a vessel useful for the dignity and Your GLORY. We live to bring GLORY to our Father and not shame.
19 Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: �The Lord knows those who are His,�
and, �Let everyone who names the name of Christ DEPART from iniquity.� 2 Tim 2
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor
and some for dishonor. 21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, SANCTIFIED
and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.
This does not mean that we can cleanse ourselves of sins and that we have ability to clean our souls from sin.
We should use "detergent" submitted to us by our Lord Jesus, who died of for us on the cross and took the sin of the world.
Jesus took the sin of the world to make us HOLY! That is why we are able to be SANCTIFIED and HOLY and used by God for His GLORY!
Philippians 3 : 9 tell us that we have not the righteousness which is from the law, but rather righteousness which comes to us through our faith in Christ! Righteousness "is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith".

SANCTIFIED and useful for the Master, prepared for every GOOD work.
22 Flee also youthful lusts; but PURSUE righteousness, faith, LOVE, PEACE with those who call on the Lord out of a PURE heart.
Pursue RIGHTEOUSNESS! :angel:
And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, ..
25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth,
26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.
We have to say YES to any righteous work and NO to any sin dieying to our sins DAILY to live for God.
"When a prayer or plea is made by any of Your people Israel�each one aware of his own sore and his own afflictions,.
and spreading out his hands toward this Temple�then hear from heaven, Your dwelling place. Forgive, and deal with each man..
according to all he does, since You know his heart, for You alone know the hearts of men." 2 Chronicles 6:29, 30

for You alone know the hearts of men. Yes�God alone knows the heart�He knows it completely�and sees to its very bottom!

Whoever does not practice righteousness:angel: is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.1 John 3: 10
Do you love people? Do you practice righteousness?Or do you still live in your sins? Does God live WITH you? Or YOU live WITHOUT God?
Whoever abides in God does NOT sin.
You therefore be STRONG in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to FAITHFUL men who will be able to TEACH others also.
You therefore must endure hardship as a good SOLDIER of Jesus Christ.
No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.
And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.
We all should be crowned competing according to the rules!
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but ONLY ONE gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.1 Cor 9:24
Everyone who competes in the games exercises SELF-CONTROL in all things.
And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we -CHRISTIANS- for an imperishable crown.
Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body
and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified....DISQUALIFIED!!!!
Romans 6:16 Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey--whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?
"I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings."
Practice righteousness for the sake of the Gospel, that you may share in its blessings as God promised us. :angel: :applause:
