Where does the Holy Bible teach us that we should be holy as God is HOLY and righteous/godly people?

Let's consider a few Bible verses today (Romans 8):

QUESTION: Who are justified and forgiven of their sins?

ANSWER: Those who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. ( Romans 8:1).

What does it mean? How to walk according to the Spirit of God?

God sent His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh. Why? To justify us- who do NOT walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. ( Romans 8)

How to walk according to the Spirit of God?

Therefore, brethren, we are debtorsnot to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh you will DIE; but if by the Spirit YOU PUT to DEATH the DEEDS of the body, you will LIVE.

How?

We die daily for our sins to stop sinning to live with God walking according to the Spirit of God!

Why should we do it?

For as many as are LED by the Spirit of God, these are SONS of God.

We have to be BORN of God/sons of God if we WANT to see the Kingdom of God (John 3)!

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirsheirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. (Rom 816-17)

"He(JESUS) himself bore our sins" in his body on the cross, so that we might DIE to sins and LIVE for RIGHTEOUSNESS..1 Peter 2:24

Romans 6:1-2

What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase?

By NO means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?

Romans 6:11

In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Romans 6:13

Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.

Summary:

QUESTION: Who are justified and forgiven of their sins?

ANSWER: Those who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. ( Romans 8:1).
