World War 3: Russia Could Turn United States Into Radioactive Ash, Says State TV!

World War 3 is still on the minds of many despite the situation between Russia and Ukraine not coming to blows. Now a Kremlin-backed journalist has stated that Russia could turn the United States into radioactive ash.

In a related report by The Inquisitr, one of Russias nuclear weapons was fired as a show of force just as Vladimir Putin blamed President Obama and America for causing the entire situation by interfering in Ukraine. Although a war ultimatum by the Russian Black Sea fleet commander never caused a crisis the Russians did sink a ship in order to block the Ukrainian navy from escaping.

Former Ukrainian president Leonid Kravchuk was the first to warn that Russia may push his country into starting World War 3.

They have gone beyond their base and occupied Crimea it is conquered territory. Russia violated the Budapest Memorandum. Ukraine has every reason to go to international arbitration. I call on the Russian authorities to stop. Between our peoples should not be war. Does Russia not understand that this is the beginning of World War 3?

Even though the overwhelming majority of voters in Crimea say they want to be part of Russia the rest of Ukraine may not want that to happen, and some are already threatening war. The secession is also a difficult task to pull off since the Crimean peninsula receives its electricity and other resources via the rest of Ukraine. So some say Ukraines new government may resist the referendum, and already some officials in Kiev say the 95 percent vote only came about because of threats by the Russian military.

Ever since Crimea decided it wanted to be part of Russia the official propaganda against the United States has also increased. Dmitry Kiselyov is a TV presenter who was specifically assigned as the head of a new Russian state news agency by President Vladimir Putin. In response to President Obama threatening sanctions against Russia over Crimea seceding from Ukraine, the Kremlin-backed journalist hinted at World War 3:

Russia is the only country in the world that is realistically capable of turning the United States into radioactive ash.

Do you think Russia would really start World War 3 with the United States over Ukraine or do you think its just political posturing?

Matthew 24:3-12: The disciples asked Jesus, "What will be the sign of your coming and the End of the Age?"

Jesus answered: "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars {Luke 21:9 adds "And Revolutions"}, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the End is still to come. Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earhquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains."

"Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of Me. {During the 1260-day Great Tribulation} At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate eqch other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the End will be saved!!"

LONDON The standoff between Ukraine and Russia is the "biggest crisis in Europe of the 21st century," British Foreign Secretary William Hague said Monday as Russia's foreign minister insisted that his nation's troops were needed in Crimea to protect Russian citizens.

The dramatic British characterization of events comes as global leaders issued a joint statement Monday on the increasingly fraught political situation in Ukraine and as geopolitical fears spread in earnest to the global investment community.

"We, the leaders of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States and the President of the European Council and President of the European Commission, join together today to condemn the Russian Federation's clear violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, in contravention of Russia's obligations under the U.N. Charter and its 1997 basing agreement with Ukraine," the leaders said in the statement.

KIEV, Ukraine Warning that it was "on the brink of disaster," Ukraine put its military on high alert Sunday and appealed for international help to avoid what it feared was the possibility of a wider invasion by Russia.

Outrage over Russia's military moves mounted in world capitals, with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry calling on President Vladimir Putin to pull back from "an incredible act of aggression."

A day after Russia captured the Crimean Peninsula without firing a shot, fears grew in the Ukrainian capital and beyond that Russia might seek to expand its control by seizing other parts of eastern Ukraine. Senior Obama administration officials said the U.S. now believes that Russia has complete operational control of Crimea, a pro-Russian area of the country, and has more than 6,000 troops in the region.

So if Russia does take military action in Ukraine, what will the West do?

Will the U.S. and the EU just sit on their hands and complain loudly?

Or will they also take military action?

This proxy war in Ukraine has already caused permanent damage to the relationship between the United States and Russia, and many believe that this conflict is planting the seeds from which World War III may eventually erupt.

Please keep the people of Ukraine in prayer. This is a great tragedy for their nation. And if the situation in Ukraine does descend into mass bloodshed, it could potentially set off a chain of events which would ultimately lead to global war.
