I have just published some words of my friend about depression on one of Forums

and I thought to share them with you because they are so perfect.

My friend told me:

Maria don't give up for we are here for a reason

and to give up gives satan a boost--a foothold and we are

to give that boost and foot hold to Jesus.

You hang in there dear one--do you want to see Jesus--do any of us if we have not finished the work He has for it?

He would want to know why

Big hugs from here--and LONG LIVE OUR JESUS AND US ALONG WITH HIM FOREVER AND EVERMORE.

AMEN

Guys, let's consider suicide and share how to recover in such situation of stress to build us up.

Depression is something that has been around us always.

What is depression?

Major depression is an episode of sadness or apathy along with other symptoms that lasts at least two consecutive weeks and is severe enough to interrupt daily activities.People who suffer from depression often are sad or uninterested in anything. Depressed people sleep a lot and enjoy spending time in darkness, rather than the light. Gods Word encourages us to come out of the darkness and concentrate on the things of others.

What should we do if we are depressed? What does God say?

What can a Christian do when he encounters depression? What advice can we find in the pages of the HOLY Scripture given us by God? Why we should consider this issue? Because if we feel suicidal, we should seek immediate help! God provides this help! God gives us life and He saves us from death. That is why His desire toward our life is salvation, long and productive life bearing fruits. This help God gives us. Take it. Think about it and change your mind as God says.

Lets consider this issue today. Listen to what I said one day:

Do you want to know what my "psychiatrist" says when I want to stop my life? LOL

"You know Maria, sometimes people you age experience a life change and this can include clinical depression. You must not allow this to take root in your life. You have to turn off stress. Perhaps the Scripture from James will help. He said want for nothing. Now remember he was the brother of the Lord. His brother died a terrible death. He called him The Lord of Glory. Want for nothing in your case perhaps can mean do not be anxious for anything but with prayer and supplication make your requests known to God and the peace of God that transcends all understanding will guard your heart and minds in Christ Yeshua.

I am learning that there has been terrible suffering from our Jewish people. I am inspired by these stories. Terrible stories of sacrifice of those who died in the Holocaust. Mothers for daughters etc....things of this world we think important often is not. Sharing the gospel with others often is. It replaces those things we loose.

Do not be depressed. Be a salve to no ones abusive speech. Stick up for yourself. Say something. Make yourself known. Otherwise you will continue to stress and suffer. This will result in bitterness and what is now happening depression. That awful black emotional cloud invading your spirit of light and the truth of the Word.

Promise me you will speak your mind when you have these feelings. Talk. And be rational. Communicative and fair minded. If he cannot appreciate this, you have to put him in his place at the moment, but in a way that is not merely argumentative and emotional. But in a way that is meant to express your view and what you expect from him. Do this often. This sense of fairness in the relationship will express itself in a balanced way. I do not know what benefits he brings to this relationship. What is his job and prospects. And of course most importantly his ability to be a Godly dad.

My prayers are with you. I hope that this advice is useful. Keep this to yourself. Use that which is helpful.

God bless you, Maria....many times over....

Remember there are no perfect days. One days depression will leave you (this too shall pass. You are never trapped. God bless you. )"

We believers have much to deal with sometimes.

But we have a God who comforts us.

Never feel so bad that you feel trapped.

You are not trapped. You are a person who must

maintain their calm faith.

The book of James (who was the brother of the Lord), is personally helping me to be calm, and behave better. Read his letter to the 12 tribes again. Maybe it will have the same calming effect on you.

Remember it is not just me who supports you - so does all of heaven.

My friend gave me great advices. Yes? Yes. He is a godly Jewish man.

Proverbs 12:25 ANXIETY in the heart of man causes DEPRESSION, But a good word makes it glad.

Philippians 4:6-7 Be ANXIOUS for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

God encourages us to come out of the darkness and concentrate on the things of others. This will take our focus off of ourselves and help us to find true peace and joy in serving others.

We have to change our mind to escape depression.

First of all we have to be ANXIOUS for nothing and talk to the God of Israel in our prayers reading His HOLY words in the Bible.

Then the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Changing our minds we have to think about other things! What should we think of?

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8

Psalms 42:11 Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Psalms 40:1-3 I waited patiently for the LORD; he inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD.

What is the source of our pain and reason to kill ourselves in our suicide attempts?

Psalms 32:10 Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the LORD.

Only sin brings forth death!

We are FREE of our sins!

Brothers. Get right with the God of Israel and His Son. Repent of your sins, confess them to the Son of God in a prayer. The Son of God forgave us of all our sins to walk with God in this life enduring all trials and tribulation to pass to His Kingdom bearing much fruit as victors with the crown of life and not victims of our mind and games of our mind.

We are not victims to kill ourselves in suicide attempts but we are heirs of God called to inherit His Kingdom and set people FREE!

That is your calling, the purpose of your life and the life time is given to you to accomplish this mission.

Why do you say, O Jacob,

And speak, O Israel:

My way is hidden from the Lord,

And my just claim is passed over by my God?

Have you not known?

Have you not heard?

The everlasting God, the Lord,

The Creator of the ends of the earth,

Neither faints nor is weary.

His understanding is unsearchable.

He gives power to the weak,

And to those who have no might He increases strength.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary,

And the young men shall utterly fall,

But those who wait on the Lord

Shall renew their strength;

They shall mount up with wings like eagles,

They shall run and not be weary,

They shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah 40:27-31

James 1

Profiting from Trials:

2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

9 Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, 10 but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away. 11 For no sooner has the sun risen with a burning heat than it withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beautiful appearance perishes. So the rich man also will fade away in his pursuits.

Loving God Under Trials:

12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, I am tempted by God; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. 18 Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

Qualities Needed in Trials:

19 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; 20 for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

DoersNot Hearers Only:

21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

26 If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this ones religion is useless.

27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
