The poorest man in the world is not the one who lacks the basic needs of his day and the conveniences of life. It is he who walks without the light of God, Jesus Christ. Many individuals pride themselves in the wisdom of the world and brag about their string of achievements and accolades, placing their faith therein, but of what use are they if when they diminish in the blink of an eye in the wind of natural disasters and unfavorable circumstances of life you realize you are 'naked'? Now, am I discouraging the possession of material riches or accolades of achievement? Absolutely not! The Lord actually came to lavish all who believe in him with all that (I am come that they may have life and have it 'abundantly' John10:10). I am just encouraging you to realize this simple truth that the Lord is the light of life and the foundation of an enduring faith. "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all these (desires of your heart, enduring in nature) will be added unto you in full measure" Matthew 6:19-20,33. With that, I would like you to invite you to make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life by praying the following prayer, meaning with your heart every word you say, because the Word of God teaches that whoever does not have the Son does not have life 1 John 5:12.

PRAYER OF SALVATION

"O Lord God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ. Your Word says, "...whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Acts 2:21)

I ask Jesus to come into my heart to be the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit and according to Romans 10:9, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved," I declare that I am saved; I am born-again; I am a child of God! I now have Christ dwelling in me, and greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world! (1John4:4). I now walk in the consciousness of my new life in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!"

Congratulations! You are now a child of God. To learn more and grow in your knowledge of God in Christ Jesus(as a Christian), join a Christ Embassy Church or any other congregation near you where 'born-again' Christians meet. You can also follow the Born Again Christian Community at Yookos.com and fellowship with the Holy Spirit of God. Hi crosswell:

Thank you for the Scripture, and for your enthusiasm.

I find that a person is saved by the GRACE of GOD thru Faith, not by saying a prayer.

Do not get me wrong, praying is good, yet praying does not save a person,Grace saves.

Joh 3:14 And even as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,

Joh 3:15 that everyone believing into Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that everyone believing into Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Joh 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world that He might judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

Joh 3:18 The one believing into Him is not condemned; but the one not believing has already been condemned, for he has not believed into the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Eph 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

As far as Romans 10:9-10:

Rom 10:8 But what does it say? "The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the Word of faith which we proclaim) Deuteronomy 30:12-14.

Rom 10:9 Because if you confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Rom 10:10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation.

Rom 10:11 For the Scripture says, "Everyone believing on Him will not be put to shame." Isa. 28:16

The 10th verse needs to be first, then the rest follows, yet most will use Romans 10 as a formula to getting saved, confessing, confessing, confessing.

A person cannot confess what they do not ALREADY BELIEVE.

Faith comes before confessing.

Shalom young man.

Can faith save him?

As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

James 2:26

Faith Without Works Is Dead

14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, Depart in peace, be warmed and filled, but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

18 But someone will say, You have faith, and I have works. Show me your faith without your[d] works, and I will show you my faith by my[e] works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believeand tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?[f] 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.[g] And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

There should be no such thing as a prayer of salvation since it is not a Biblical concept. Nor is accepting Jesus or asking him to come into your heart. You may not say a prayer and then declare yourself born again. You cannot be made a child of God by saying a prayer, asking Jesus into your heart, accepting Jesus as your "personal savior" or giving your life to God, Christ/Jesus. All of these concepts and stories are false teachings. There is no reason for anyone to think they are true. These lies are the beginning of all the lies the church propagates in order to save by guilt not grace.

Jesus said you must be born from above. You are not "saved". Your new birth comes from God not from your decision to say a prayer. That's why it is called born from above. If you believe in Jesus then you must also believe in what he said and taught. Yes, Jesus came so that we might have life abundantly but this does not have anything to do with "salvation" or being born from above.

All men are children of God. We are all His creation. We were children of God before we were born from above. If we had not been there would not have been any reason to redeem us.

You are preaching the dogma of the church and not the words of Jesus. It is the message of Christianity started by St. Paul but not the words of Jesus.

Jesus used a word that meant delivered or protected when he spoke of being saved. The same word was used to describe a healing. The word salvation means either defender or to be defended. If being saved is to be delivered or protected and salvation is to be defended then how does being saved make us a child of God. We certainly are not told to say a prayer in order to be "saved". According to John 3:17 Jesus was sent by the Father so that the world might be saved. Since Jesus was here and has gone and his work here is finished then the world must already be saved. How then can we be saved again? Are we to believe that the work of Jesus was not finished and we now have to pray for ourselves to be saved? No, because it would be redundant and ridiculous. The world was saved by the work of Jesus on the cross. All of creation was redeemed back to the Father by the blood of Jesus. Jesus was not talking about salvation when he was talking about being born from above. They are two different things. A person can be born from above without ever being a Christian and is not a Christian just because the are born from above. Remember, Jesus was not a Christian and he wasn't teaching people to be Christians. Being born from above is a result of the grace of God (His empowering presence) coming to us as we come to Him and our faith is caused to believe in Him.

I know the difference because when I said the prayer nothing in my life, heart, soul and mind had changed. But when I was touched by God, called by the Spirit, and I answered, I was born from above and then everything changed. I became a new and very different person. The evidence of my spiritual birth is that I have never stopped growing and changing.

Stop believing the crooked teachings of Christianity and study the teachings of Jesus. You will find a very different perspective on the Truth of God's words spoken through Jesus the Christ.

I say so: If we did NOT transform ourselves and live in sins then we live in sins AGAINST God and God abandons us- sinners -in this case. If we live in sins, we will die in sins.

Salvation is cooperation with God when we DIE for sins to live WITH God in the renewed and godly life, being transformed to be His sons and to implement what He says.
