I believe many people have heard this verse of Scripture,yet most may not have only one understanding of this Word of GOD
(KJV) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Here the word 'destroyed' may not just have the meaning of being destroyed / ruined;
It also has the understanding of being 'SILENCED'.

NOW when the christians meet together,how many people have the opportunity to become an ACTIVE participant and share from the Word of GOD that which the Holy Spirit has revealed to that person,NOBODY but the 'pastor' and or 'worship band'.
This silence does not show respect,or piety,but rather that they have been silenced into their own destruction.
When the people break bread not one publicly gives thanks,yet the pastor says LET me pray.

When believers want to bring the truth of the Word of GOD to the people,these are called rebels,insurrectionists and unbelievers.
The people continue drinking the kool aid of those trained in cemetery oopppsss seminary,yet they reject the meat of the Word being offered to them FREELY,by those being EMPOWERED of the Holy Spirit.
I find it means �Destroy� ...Im not sure where you get the �silence� from because that is not what the Strongs says�.Possibly you are RE-Translating Scripture or RE-Interpreting it ???...or comparing Strongs with another Translation�Oh�I see now�you found that word in the (NASB Translation) which is �Another Translation��Not �THE� �Translation��Either way�the Hebrew WORD Daham simply means �Destroy��anything added to the meaning is just that�added�and it doesn�t hold Salt�IMHO�.Hey!!!...Has anyone ever noticed that certain translations of the Bible leave out Words and Complete Verses?...Thats why I stick to the AKJV�supplementing with the NKJV and sometimes use the ESV�these are all Literal Translations and not RE-worded Translations which I�ve noticed conveys a Whole different meaning of the Scriptured WORD�

*** Its apparent to me that you "understand" the meaning of the word to be "Silenced" and that is your "understanding" and not the same as "Translation" of the Word...May God grant to you understanding about this...We do not need to "Re-Translate" a "Translation" of Scripture...We all need to Pray and ask for "Understanding"...May Yahweh richly Bless you...

I do not try to elevate myself as pie thinks,i only want the people to be knowing the truth within the Scriptures.
I think people are afraid to translate the Word of GOD,as they might read something which goes against what they have been believing.
