Here is my response to your question 45 pages back:
1 Corinthians 9:14 states that, "...the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should LIVE of the gospel."
In other words, preachers should be paid to preach!
Where does this money come from? In Galatians Paul tells us, "Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things" (Galatians 6:6 - this can be better understood from another translation: "And let the one who is taught the word share all good things with him who teaches" . We see this same concept again in 1 Timothy 5:17-18 where Paul writes, "Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward."
Therefore, we should be giving to support those who teach us faithfully.
In 1 Corinthians 16:1-4, Paul tells the Corinthians that each man should set aside a sum of money on the first day of every week, "as God hath prospered him", for a collection to be taken to help the saints in Jerusalem. He follows up on this subject in 2 Corinthians 8, where he explains how the Macedonians gave overwhelmingly, even though they were impoverished; and the Macedonians' giving was marked by their joy, and the feeling that it was a privilege to be able to give. Thus, he encouraged the Corinthians to make good on their promise to give. So we see, this giving was due to a promise made of their own volition, not a legalistic method of tithing.
"Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give ; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver."
Christians should give out of the willingness of their heart, and thanksgiving:applause: to and reverence for God, both for who He is and for the blessings He has bestowed upon them. Giving is done in response to the good teachings which Christians receive, to support those who teach, and to support saints in need. By following these teachings, and the examples set by New Testament Christians, we may always give willingly and joyfully, and please God with what we have and bring to offer.
I believe you have made the same mistake as most people do,their understanding of the Word of GOD Almighty does not come from having studied the WORD,their understanding as yours comes from someone else reading commentaries about the Word of GOD.
Had you actually STUDIED the Word of GOD concerning this matter your understanding would be different.
When i return later i would write concerning the Scriptures you have posted, and we will see what the WORD of GOD Almighty says compared to what men have been telling the people.
So should they get paid millions? Should they have flashy clothes? Should they have mansions?
NO!! The best churches I have ever attended (best being SMALL with no FLASH and SPARKLE). Best being teaching the whole word of God! They talk about sin and hell and spreading the gospel as well as grace through faith. We are in the laodician age right before Jesus' return! He said it would be this way.
Churches preaching on hyper grace and prosperity. People sit in the pew on sunday and sing hallelujah and then live like the devil the rest of the week. Churches that have caved to the 501c3 status therefore being governed by the government and not God.
Churches with gay preachers. Churches with women preachers. Churches emerging with islam (chislam bibles are emerging in the churches) and promoting a perverted LOVE all people no matter whom they worship. THIS IS ALL FROM THE PIT OF HELL!
Satan had a plan and he is carrying it out very well so far. Many many people will hear "depart from me for I never knew you". Many a "christian" will perish thanks to these so called "churches".
What I meant to say is they promote LOVE by saying worshipping allah, buddah whoever is okay . The emergent view is that all paths lead to God. Just LOVE them and dont tell them the truth about Jesus! Let people sing kumbayah and be happy! Peace on earth good will to men! BULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The world has a perverted view of LOVE these days. LOVE today is just be quiet and be tolerant. In other words tickle their ears and deceive them and love them straight to hell.
Right is wrong and wrong is right. This is also in scripture.
I speak up BECAUSE I LOVE. I will NOT be quiet. If I can help one person to know the truth I have done a good deed for my savior.
I would like to start with the verse of Scripture which i had posted, and let us see what this verse says before moving forward with the rest of your reply.
(KJV) Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
(KJV+) (G1161) Let him that is taughtG2727 in theG3588 wordG3056 communicateG2841 unto him that teachethG2727 inG1722 allG3956 good things.G18
(LEB) Now the one who is taught the word must share in all good things with the one who teaches.
(LITV) But let the one being taught in the Word share with the one teaching, in all good things.
(YLT) And let him who is instructed in the word share with him who is instructing--in all good things.
Many people have been told this verse of Scripture is talking about supporting the pastor, well i would tell you many have been deceived.
This particular Scripture is talking about being taught in the Word of GOD Almighty, and with the Word of GOD.
The one which has been taught in the Word is to share what they have learned with others, especially with those calling themselves 'teachers'.
How a person can say this is about financial support of a man,i cannot figure that out.
Had the people known what this Word of GOD actually says, they would have stopped giving to the so called 'church',and would have personally given to those in need.
Versavia, too many times the sheeple have the their own wool pulled over their eyes,by those which do not care for the people.
Please study the Word of GOD,being a Berean, going to the Greek and Hebrew languages from which the English translations have been taken

Hello Versavia:
The Scriptures you have posted, not one of these is talking about giving money to a person called 'pastor'.
PLEASE explain why you believe these Scripture are talking about supporting a man called 'pastor'.
I believe you have been deceived as the christians have been deceived for many years.
People have been told that it is their GOD given DUTY to support the person calling themselves 'pastor',should these same people actually read and study the WORD of GOD Almighty, they would know they have been deceived.
Tithing is mentioned 15 times in the OT and Zero times in the NT. Giving a tenth is mentioned in Hebrews 7:4-9 about Abraham giving a tenth to Melchizadek and giving a tenth is mentioned 3 other times in the NT in Matthew 23:23; Luke 11:42 and Luke 18:10-14 as follows: The saints are commanded to give to the poor directly and not through the Church. The saints held church in houses . There is no mention of any money given for a church building in the NT.
Giving a tenth is mentioned 3 times in the NT besides Hebrew 7:4-9 as follows:
Matthew 23:23 Jesus says "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices--mint, dill and cummin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law--justice, mercy and faithfulness!"
Luke 11:42: Jesus says, "Woe to you Pharisees, because you give God a tenth of your mint, rue and all other kinds of garden herbs, but you neglect justice and the love of God!"
Luke 18:10-14: Jesus says," Jesus says, "Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: "God I thank you that I am not like other men--robbers, evildoers, adulterers-- or even like this tax collector. I Fast twice a week and give a **TENTH** of all I get!" " But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would no even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, "God, have mercy on me, a sinner." "I tell you that this man rather than the other, went home justified before God!!"
In the New Covenant God's saints give directly to the poor and worship in private houses as per Romans 16:5; I Cor 16:19 & Philemon 1:2. There is no mention of giving to the church for the poor or giving money for church buildings. Only giving to the Pastors are mentioned.
In the old covenant God's commandments were only preached to Jews but in the New Covenant Jesus commands us to preach to every nation in the world teaching them to obey *EVERYTHING* He commanded and everything would also include all of the approximately 400 NT commandments also taught in Acts to Revelation {See 2 Timothy 3-16 to 4:2.}
Jesus also eliminated the earthly rewards for faithful service and commanded us to sell our possessions and give to the poor and get *TREASURES IN HEAVEN* and **THEN** come follow Him.
Luke 12:33,34: Jesus says, Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted....For where your treasure is there your heart will be also.
The early NT saints obeyed these new commandments:
Acts 2:44: All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possession and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.
Acts 4:32: All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had!
Ephesians 4:28: "Work so that you can share with those in need!"
The Prosperity Gospel of Joel Osteen is straight from Satan's Gospel.
Matthew 20:20-24: All these {Commandments} I have kept, the young man said. What do I still lack? Jesus answered, If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. **THEN** come, follow Me. When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth. Then Jesus says, It is hard for a rich man to enter the *KINGDOM OF HEAVEN*. It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter the *KINGDOM OF GOD*.
I feel led to help those who have fed me truths of God. I also give to those who are not as fortunate as I am. I do so because I have the mind of Christ.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8
God Loves a Cheerful Giver
6Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed;
Deuteronomy 15:10
Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.
Thank you for your answer, which have posted below.
My paycheck from GOD !! Re to: George
Most people have been deceived into believing that the Scripture you posted is talking about giving money to the pastor, because the 'pastor' uses this verse of Scripture along with a host of others to make the people believe they are compelled to support them.
The Scripture you have posted is not addressing financial support of the so called pastor(s),this is talking about the CONDITION with which people give anything, and the condition by which they will also receive anything.
2Co 9:6 And this: the one sowing sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one sowing on hope of blessings will also reap on blessings.
This Scripture should be translated as thus:
The one sowing GREEDILY will be also reaping GREEDILY.
The one scattering upon speaking well, upon speaking well shall they reap.
I know people will not agree with the translation, but that is because they are not taught to translate the Word of GOD from the languages they have been written into.
Nor might many want to spend the time getting to know the GOD Almighty by knowing His Word.

GNWS:
Hey Hidden, please do not try to deceive the people by only posting one verse out from its context, for this Scripture from Deuteronomy 15 starts with the first verse, and ends around verse 18.
Verses 11-18 talks about setting a Hebrew person free from slavery.
Now back to Deuteronomy 15 this is to the Hebrews not to believers,as we do not practice slavery as in the times of Moses.
These are the instructions to both the slave, and the slave owner.
My how we want to take the Word of GOD Almighty and change its intended purposes in order to please men,and deceive the people.
