Witnessing to Jewish people from Isaaih 9:6

Hello everyone:
I have heard people say that witnessing to Jewish people is difficult,as they do not want to listen about Yeshua / Jesus.
Most Ghoyim / gentiles will not look into the history of the nation of Israel, nor do most people want to read and study the Old Covenant.
When witnessing with Jewish people we need to remember that their Scriptures may not coincide with the Bible, for example.
When we share the Word of GOD with Jewish people we need to remember that they speak and read Hebrew ( Hebrew means 'From the other side),I do not believe everyone needs to speak Hebrew in order to witness with Jewish people.
What i believe is that we need to understand a bit about their Scriptures, for the English versions have been translated from the Hebrew Scriptures.
Here is one verse which needs to be known from the Hebrew Scriptures in order for Jewish people to want to talk with believers.
The numbers on the left show the verse numbers in the English translations.
The numbers in parenthesis show the verse numbers in Hebrew.
This is one reason for the Jewish people to not listen to the believers in Messiah Yeshua.
Isaiah 9:6 in the English translations is not the same in the Hebrew Scriptures.
In the English translations this is what Isaiah 9:6 looks like.
Isa 9:6 For a Child is born; to us a Son is given; and the government is on His shoulder; and His name is called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
This is what Isaiah 9:6 looks like in the Hebrew Scriptures.
Actually i will post the entire chapter of Isaiah 9.
When you read Isaiah 9 in Hebrew remember the numbers of each chapter verse may not be the same as the English, this is one reason why it is difficult to witness with Jewish people.
But there will be no more gloom for her who was in distressed, As when at first He lightly afflicted the Artzah (land ארצה) Zevulun and the Artzah ( ארצה) Naftali, and afterward did more grievously oppressed her, By the way of the sea, beyond Yarden, in Galil the nation.

Of the increase of His government and peace; there shall be] no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from that time forward even forever. The zeal of YEHOVAH Tzva'ot will perform this.
The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the shikmah (sycomores שׁקמים) are cut down, but we will change [them into] cedars.
The Arameans before, and the P'lishtim behind; and they shall devour Yisrael with open mouth. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Therefore *YHWH (יהוה) shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is a hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaks folly. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
For wickedness burns as the fire: it shall devour the thorns and wild growth of weeds, And shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke.

George I dont see any difference betwixt the English and Hebrew you posted here except the El for God which is in the Hebrew and English uses GodThe English and Hebrew of your post say the exact same thing. I will agree that the English book/chapter numbering is off on some it doesnt negate the Word or message being conveyed in this scripture
English ~
Isa 9:6 For a Child is born; to us a Son is given; and the government is on His shoulder; and His name is called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Hebrew ~
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His Name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty EL, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
*** There are Bibles such as The Complete Jewish Bible and One New Man that can be used while evangelizing to Jews xo
I do not know why,but every time i try posting something from a Jewish site,i
get this nonsense as a result.
In The Hebrew Scriptures, when the Jews read from Isaiah 9:6 they are actually
Isaiah 9:5
So when a person says to a Jewish person, can i show you in Isaiah 9:6 about Jesus, the Jewish people say you are wrong for their Scriptures in this particular chapter will not match any English translations.
And they are very strict to where a verse is located,if it is not Isaiah 9:5 then you and your translation are also wrong.
Also you have been studying the Hebrew Scriptures, most people do not know that there are no punctuation marks in the Hebrew Scriptures.( Greek is the same, and there are no capitol letters in the Greek Scriptures).
Also i was watching a Jewish believer teaching about the differences between the Hebrew and the English, one i thought very interesting was there are no vowels in the Hebrew Scriptures, they must be inserted.
George...Yup! the Numbering is off...however the orinals were not numbered so this should be a non issue if the intire book of Isaiah is used to preach the Gospel...thats why I mentioned the "Complete Jewish Bible" and even better yet "The One Newman Bible"...the numbering is as the Aramaic and Hebrew... :o) ...Thnxs for the link...very interesting I will use the site however I dont down load anything online...I've come across to mny bugs...
