The day of salvation will soon be here

The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here. So remove your dark deeds like dirty clothes, and put on the shining armor of right living.

� Romans 13:12



What is the DAY of salvation?



And working together with Him (God), we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in VAIN:angeldevil:-- 2for He says, "AT THE ACCEPTABLE TIME I LISTENED TO YOU, AND ON THE DAY OF SALVATION I HELPED YOU." Behold, now is "THE ACCEPTABLE TIME," behold, now is "THE DAY OF SALVATION "--



3 We give no offense in anything, that our ministry may not be blamed. 4 But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses, 5 in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings; 6 by purity, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love:hearts:, 7 by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness :angel:on the right hand and on the left, 8 by honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true; 9 as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as chastened, and yet not killed; 10 as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich:angel:; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things:angel:.



God said:

�Come out from among them

And be separate, says the Lord.

Do not touch what is unclean,

And I will receive you.�

18 �I will be a Father to you,

And you shall be My sons and daughters,

Says the Lord Almighty.�



Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness :angel:with lawlessness:angeldevil:? And what communion has ligh:glow:t with darkness:winksmile:?

2 Cor 6



Isaiah 56:1

This is what the LORD says: "Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand and my righteousness will soon be revealed.





The Son of God says to Christians:



Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God. Remember, then, what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come against you. Yet you have still a few names in Sardis, people who have not soiled their garments, and they will walk with me in white, for they are worthy. The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments:angel:, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.� Rev 3:2-6

Put on Christ



11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. 13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.



...the disciples came to Him (Jesus) privately, saying, �Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?�



4 And Jesus answered and said to them: �Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, �I am the Christ,� and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all[a] these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences,[b] and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.



9 �Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name�s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Matth 24



Jesus continues saying about His RETURN to our planet:

15 �Therefore when you see the �abomination of desolation,�[c] spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place� (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 �then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. 18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect�s sake those days will be shortened.



23 �Then if anyone says to you, �Look, here is the Christ!� or �There!� do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand.



26 �Therefore if they say to you, �Look, He is in the desert!� do not go out; or �Look, He is in the inner rooms!� do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 28 For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.



29 �Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.



31 The sun shall be turned into darkness,

And the moon into blood,

Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.

32 And it shall come to pass

That whoever calls on the name of the Lord

Shall be saved.

Joel 2



Ezekiel 30:3

For the day is near, the day of the Lord is near; it will be a day of clouds, a time of doom for the nations.



The Son of God tells us:

Revelation 3:3

Remember, then, what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come against you.



Revelation 16:15

�Behold, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, that he may not go about naked and be seen exposed



Revelation 6:17

For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?�



Glory to you Jesus because You are our God who changes people and helps us to remove our dark deeds like dirty clothes, and put on the shining armor of right living.
