*** Did you know that the word Bible isnt in the Bible ? However many Bible Scholars, Preachers, Ministers, Evangelistsetcetcetcpeople in general use the word Bible to convey what we are discussing the Holy ScripturesInteresting huh ???...

Here are a couple of links to some great sites explaining about the TrinityIts always best to research an area of question and then always verify it against the Written WordIf (we) are to practice what is in the Bible (we) must know what is in the Biblenot just take some mans/womans opinion about it as Truth

:applause:...Good job MiMi...Yup!!! Its a Greek word and is used mostly for the word book and sometimes for writingas you can see the Strongs refers to its make up of papyrus 1st then refers to a sheet, scroll of writing, book

Strong's #976: biblos (pronounced bib'-los) properly, the inner bark of the papyrus plant, i.e. (by implication) a sheet or scroll of writing:--book.

I study mostly Hebrew and use a Hebrew/Arabic NT while forgetting sometimes the NT as we have today is mostly Greek with a scattering of Aramacic (old Hebrew) writings

I guess since the Bible is a book its the closest word we got in English for ithowever they be TeachingsWrittingsScriptures all rolled up or should we say bound up in a book:laugh:...Words are interestingand can convey many thingsthats why I love studying the Word. Below is a link that shows what your reply is referring to

http://biblehub.com/greek/975.htm

Check this out

The Hebrews use of a word is most simplisticas in

Writing

http://biblehub.net/searchstrongs.php?q=written

Teaching

http://biblehub.com/hebrew/8451.htm

http://biblehub.com/hebrew/3384.htm

*** ^^^ lots of folks still get law confused with teaching

Scripture

http://biblehub.com/hebrew/3791.htm

Its fascinating that the Hebrew Israelites carried the Story of Creation and all their Heritage Verballythen God used Stone to record HIS (Commandments)then man began sometime after that to use Papyrus made from Plants and rolled them up as in Scrolls for ease of carryingthen man began using Velum which is made from animal skin called leathersome Archeologists have found some later dated Metal Scrolls and even a little Metal Book Then man began to use Paper writting on it and then Printing on it and binding it in a BookIts Amazing how people have progressed so much and yet are so far from the Truth of our LORD Jesus the Christ and HIS Word...Please continue to Pray for others and Seek the Lost...

Gods continued Blessings to yall !!!... X <>< O
