Have you been mocked for being Christian? For quoting the bible, or reading the bible in public? For praying in public before a meal? For your stance against sin? If you haven't, then be prepared, the bible says it's coming, even to those living the most reclusive or apathetic life. You will be mocked and your faith will be scoffed at. The question is, how will you handle it?
End-Time Scoffers Prophesied
There is an increasing number of scholars and writers openly challenging fundamental teachings of the Bible. This should come as no surprise to those who know Scripture. God said that "scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts" (2 Peter 3:16).
The Bible states that "in the last days men will have a form of godliness but denying its power" and will deny that "all Scripture is given by the inspiration of God" (2 Timothy 3:117).
We see this more and more, people say that the bible was written by men with finite minds and their own agendas. I hear this a lot. Be prepared for someone to say this to you.
In addition, Paul predicted that "the time will come when they will have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables" (2 Timothy 4:15). New age mythology is replacing fundamental truths, and anyone who dares rebuke this new age push is said to be "intolerant" while at the same time those who promote it are exactly intolerant of Christianity or its public espousal by anyone, anywhere, anytime.
Mockery is nothing new though. Solomon recognized this evil in his day. In our day, it continues to be a cultural and personal problem. Some people, Christians included, make mockery a main mode of discourse and a primary stance in life. They can hardly talk without adding a snide aside to every sentence. This is very wrong. Followers of Jesus are taught not to mock others, but to let our speech be with grace always, seasoned with salt (Colossians 4:6). Our speech should be a blessing to others (1 Peter 3:8-12).
Brothers and sisters, be prepared for mocking and be ready to reply with grace and love. I urge readiness ahead of time because initially coming across a person who is snidely mocking disrupts the conversational flow. If you are unprepared, emotions tend to take over and replies have less tendency to be of loving grace seasoned with salt!
How will you reply to a scoffer? Do you have one area in the bible in which you are interested? Say, young earth defense, or creationism, or the resurrection? Study in that area and prepare to be a good Christian apologist to those who scoff at what they will see as dubious claims of Christianity in the face of all their hard 'science.'
And remember that the bible has much to say about mockers. After reading how God sees them, we need be less concerned with our own hurt feelings, knowing their pain in being without Jesus. Above all remember the scoffing and mocking that Jesus endured as they stripped Him, thrust a crown of thorns on His head, and mocked Him all the way to the cross. Even as he hung dying, the jeering voices were among the last He heard before it was finished.
Psalm 1:1
Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.
Proverbs 1:22
How long will you simple ones love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?
Proverbs 24:9
The schemes of folly are sin, and men detest a mocker.
This post, which I comprehend is merely a copy of another's blog, is filled with mockery, it is easy to discern.
There is no greater mockery, than that of one who claims to be anointed, and uses the Word of God to pretend to be a master of the Word.
This posts appears to establish the meaning of "mock", but it fails miserably to do so.
Example. The hypocrite is a mocker. The hypocrite is a wolf acting like he is one of the sheep. This is what it means to "mock", as in a Mockingbird that mimics other bird's whistles. He is a master of mocking the pure whistles. It takes a great ear to spot "the Mockingbird".
Christianity is a Mockingbird. It professes to be the guardian and possessor of the true meaning of scripture, and of the way to salvation, which they claim is always through the Will of the Dead, as though dead men can raise themselves from the grave, by mere willpower. Yes, just as Judaism is the Mockingbird for the anointed sons of Elohim, in the period of darkness, when the Word of YHWH Elohim was not fully comprehended, so Christianity is the Mockingbird for the anointed writings of the N'tzrim, who were led by the Father, and were manifested as His chosen offspring at Yerushalem.

It is amazing that the mystery is written about Paul being accused of being a ringleader of the sect of the N'tzrim, and yet many do not comprehend that the early saints were not called "Christians", no, that did not take place until Antioch, after Yeshua was crucified, buried, resurrected, and had ascended . The saints were N'tzrim long before this imposter Christianity ever appeared on the scene in the middle 3rd century.
Paul was no Christian, nor Peter, nor any of the saints. This is why Peter tells the saints, that when men call them "Christian", that they are not to be ashamed, but accept this title, because they who use it do not comprehend the meanings or terms of the scripture:
"Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf." I Peter 4:16
Early church Father, Epiphanius wrote, in the Fourth Century that the N'tzrim differed from what he called the True Christians because they continued to guard Shabath, circumcision, and all the instructions of the early TaNaKh, as well as the writings called "B'rit Chadashah" [New Testment].
We shall now especially consider heretics who.. call themselves Natsarim; they are mainly Jews and nothing else. They make use not only of the New Testament, but they also use in a way the Old Testament of the Jews; for they do not forbid the books of the Law, the Prophets, and the Writings so that they are approved of by the Jews, from whom the Natsarim do not differ in anything, and they profess all the dogmas pertaining to the prescriptions of the Law and to the customs of the Jews, except they believe in Messiah. They preach that there is but one Almighty, and His Son Yahusha the Messiah. But they are very learned in the Hebrew language; for they, like the Jews, read the whole Law, then the ProphetsThey differ from the Jews because they believe in Messiah, and from the Christians in that they are to this day bound to the Jewish rites, such as circumcision, the Sabbath, and other ceremonies. They have the Good news according to Matthew in its entirety in Hebrew. For it is clear that they still preserve this, in the Hebrew alphabet, as it was originally written.
Paul, was not viewed as "a Christian" by the Jews, who labeled Paul as a ringleader of the sect of the N'tztim:
"For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:" Acts 24:5
True believers are "watchmen" [nzr] which is what the word Natzrat means to this day.
There is really no such thing as "a Christian", it was made up by the Devil's Seed in the city of Antioch to mock, mimic, early saints. It is said that Simon Magus [Simon the Magician] was one of the first "Christians". You may recall that he had tried to buy the gift of the Holy Spirit from the disciples, and Peter rebuked him. The Devil's Seed seeking ways to generate capital, took the anointed writings of the B'rit Chadashah and proclaimed them to be "the New Testament".
This is why the Father spoke through Yeshua, during His generation, of "the wheat and the tares growing together".
The wheat are the chosen ones, and the tares are the mockers, pretending to have the fruit, but in reality they do not~
Heavenly Father I ask that the Holy Spirit guide us and grant all who ask for > more wisdom and more discernment in these last days. May all your saints who have eyes to see and ears to hear weigh everything they see and hear against your Holy Bible written by >> you Lord!! I pray that everyone is learning to know what you meant by testing the spirits. God you have said that there is wisdom in the multitude of council within the saints. All who come in with a new "revelation" are not from you but from the god of this world who roams around to kill, steal, and destroy. May all who pass by know that we are in a daily battle and that is why you have taught us to gird our loins with the armor spoken of in Ephesians 6. Lord I pray that all who pass by here are asking you to teach them how to pray as you would have us pray to you! Our lamps must be full Lord so that we are ready for anything you lead us to Father.
Thank you Lord for protecting your flock and thank you Lord for giving us the Holy Spirit to warn us of the other spirits that come to mock you. Help us to go out into the world to spread the good news that Jesus Christ came to set the captives free with his grace and through our faith to trust and follow . Give us strength and courage to proclaim the gospel in all the land so that all who repent (turn from their sin) and trust in Jesus Christ who paid the sin debt in full for our salvation; can have everlasting life! There are none that are righteous Father except you. There are none who can fool you and there are none who can earn their way to your thrown.
I pray that all your saints keep busy loving by proclaiming truth and giving to those who are in need of earthly things and hope! I pray we all know we are a separate people who spread our light and bring the salt wherever we go. Thank you Lord for giving us all instruction that we need to grow up through your word that is our Bread of Life! Thank you for your love and grace. I pray all who pass by >>pray this in agreement .
All the honor and all the the glory and all the praise goes to your son alone who is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior!!
Amen!...AMEN!!! A most AWSUM PRAYER!!!!...Yes the lil dev dude satan and his minions are always on the hunt...they come in speaking great swelling words supposed to be full of wisdom and yet they are not...for found in 2 Pet 2:18-22 and Jude say much about such as these...
2 Pet 2:18-22
18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. (KJV)
and Jude 1
1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
2 Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. (KJV)
All Praise and GLORY to YOU PaPa GOD!!! For you and only YOU LORD Jesus are Worthy of ALL Praise!!!...Amen!...AMEN!!!!...So be It!...SO BE IT!!! :yay:
