God wants her to know... that what you are most afraid of is where your greatest rewards are.

See what God wants you to know...(I got this in my facebook devotional today) I do have a fear I pray that God will break it today.

If all you had to do was wish for something and you would have it, life would be pretty boring, wouldn't it? God placed barriers between us and what ...we want, so we can enjoy interesting and satisfying lives. God hid our biggest rewards behind the highest barriers - our deepest fears. God wants us to face our fears, and hold ground in their presence, and let them go, and that's how we get out biggest rewards. What are you most afraid of? Say it, just start by saying it.

RoseMarie,

I wince when I hear someone mention that they fear something. The very word brings to mind -- trembling -- cowering. If you are walking through the woods and a bear jumps out in front of you, perhaps then you can use the word fear; but to use it when you are talking about being afraid of what will happen at a first date, you are in a sense self-prophesying.

Use caution when necessary, be fearful when appropriate, but trust what God has given you and always have a positive (Christ's Peace) air about you and you will be more proactive and less reactive, more a "cause" of things in your life and less of a 'result" of them. Would you rather be a Oak tree with deep roots when the wind picks up or a leaf on the ground.

Start by removing all the baggage and weights that we create for ourselves.

As for age, again that is between two consenting adults -- as long as there are no ulterior motives and both are of sound minds -- then it is no concern of mine.

Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young.

Henry Ford

Peace
