Posted : 2 May, 2010 12:34 PM Sadly all I read on "christian" dating sites is women who love the pleasures and entertainments (movies, cruises, world travel, fashion, ect.) of the world and simply want a man to enjoy these things with them by their side. Where are the women who are dead to this world and who's sole desire is to live for God and help others? Who meditate in His Word day and night and are fervent in prayer and abounding in good works. Where are the women who live to the glory of God. Who actually follow the "what would Jesus do" rule. Who would never go anywhere they couldnt take Jesus and would never forsake going where Jesus wanted them to go. Life is short! Do you want a man to take you to the Bahama's or to the Kingdom of God! I tell you sincerely that 'you cannot have both!' You cannot serve God and your flesh! A man's primary responsibility is to wash his wife daily with the Word of God and keep her unspotted from the world that she may be prepared at death to enter the kingdom prepared for God's saints. Where are the woman who only desire this. Not a man who will show her the world, but a man who will show her Christ! I guarantee that on judgment day no lady will be thinking "I wish my man had taken me on one more cruise." NO they will be thinking "I wish my man had washed me with the true Word of God and prepared me for this eternally important day." These truly are dark times. But I do believe there are truly Godly women out there. If this is you and you live only for the glory of God and to do those things that please the Father at all times then please reply to this thread. I do not not care what your profile is. If your 18 or if your 70 I just want to see some women stand up for true godliness in these last days. May God be with us and bring Godly men and women together in holy union to produce a Godly seed! Im not saying Im there but what he is saying and the verses he is quoting are what everyone of us should be striving for. If we followed those verses we could be a enoch or elijah or a Paul or a John or a Stephen. can you imagine being so close to God that you were in His power and pressence all the time . they were human just like us but what was the difference they left ALL for Christ. Matt 19:27-30 Then Peter answered and said to Him, "Behold, we have left everything and followed You; what then will there be for us " And Jesus said to them , "Truly I say to you , that you who have followed Me in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on His glorious throne, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones , judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or farms for My name's sake, shall receive many times as much and shall inherit eternal life. Post Reply

Posted : 19 May, 2010 12:28 PM I don't need a man to do that for me....Jesus has done it already, and although I agree that men should take a lead spiritual role in the home, I'm still a child of God, a woman, a mother, and a dozen other roles with or without a man. My spiritual well-being is dependent on Jesus and Him alone. Post Reply

Posted : 28 May, 2010 05:34 PM I thought the chief role of a husband was to LOVE his wife as Christ loved the church, laying down His life for her...that's not going about telling her what she is doing wrong, but loving her like my Jesus did me(does) - just as I was and building me up as the apple of His eye....not to mention, Jesus came that we would have LIFE and life more abundantly - not laws and laws more abundantly. It is OK, to enjoy life and not be buffeting ourselves with works. It doesn't mean we love God any less. ...just a thought that might be worth meditating on Post Reply

View Profile History	Where are the truly Godly women? Posted : 9 Oct, 2010 07:46 AM Why concern yourself with the speck in your brother's eye and cannot remove the log in your own eyes.? Vacations and trips I believe are not evil, depending on where you go and what you do. Let me ask you,,,Why did you spend money on a computer for yourself, when you could've used that same money to help the needy? I hope you buy all your clothes at garage sales because that's where they are the cheapest. Don't dare go the Wal-Mart or Stage or Kolh's. Save that money for the needy. Also, buy the cheapest food. Even looking for a mate could be considered selfish. Are you not content with having God? Isn't he enough? The time spent searching for a mate on a computer could be better spent praying and serving Jesus. Just trying to show you we are not the judge when it comes to living our lives for Christ. And no, I don't go on cruises or see the world. That takes money. I raised my three kids alone, taught them as best I knew to be Godly. Oh, we did go to Galveston a couple of times for the weekend. But I don't put down the people that do go on trips afar. If I could afford it, I'd go see the Holy Land. I really believe I would not be sent to hell for that.
