"THE LORD HAS NEED......."

Hi All, am just here,



I want to introduce myself by this short story..Salvation is not just an evangelist's pet project,it is the Lord's principle work.God specializes in salvation.As medicine to a doctor,as music to a musician,so is the work of salvation to God.Jesus came "to seek and save that which was lost"(Luke 19:10),and to bring "many sons and daughters to glory"(Heb.2:10)



We are invited to work with Him,not on our own.The Gospel is God's business from the start to finish-- His monopoly,if you like.

We can't set up Gospel shops for our own brand. Jesus Christ is the head of all the salvation work in the world. We can labor in company with Him, and it must be done at all costs.He will meet those costs.



"and it came to pass when He drew near to Bethphage and Bethany,at the mountain called Olivet,that He sent two of His disciples,saying,"Go into the Village opposite you,where as you enter you will find a colt tied,on which no one has ever sat.Loose it and bring it here.And if anyone asks you,why are you loosing it?' thus you shall say to him,Because the Lord has need of it"'(Luke 19:29-31).



Jesus did not call for a prayer meeting to pray for the acquisition of these animals.He took the initiative in this case: "Go into the Village.....loose it and bring it...... the lord has need of it." The Lord was the one who had created all the donkeys there were. Why did He have to ask for one? The unusual details in this account tell me that the Lord has needs.And He gives us the privilege of fulfilling them!!!! "THE LORD HAS NEED....."
