As the other newbie single mom said, yes, non believers aren't good at becoming good partners. Talking from experience from a guy I recently dated and shouldn't have, an agnostic. If there is a caring gentleman out there, who is honest, kind and loyal, then show yourself ;) Anyways, I'm a single mom with two teens who will soon leave the nest. Was on match and some other sites. Dated a few who weren't as forward as some of the many others interested in me, but still haven't found that down-to-Earth man who is truly looking for one woman to share his life with. Post Reply

I have been a single mom for 5 yrs and my boys are young still...I have been dating someone here and there for a few months and we were having a conversation recently where he mentioned how glad he was to be in his 30's with no kids, ex-wife or other" baggage". So I was like my kids are "baggage"? Wow...feel like losing hope... Or perhaps this is just evidence that the Lord has something better planned for me...when I am ready. For u too! Post Reply

I've decided recently that I can't be with anyone who doesn't follow the Lord, I just can't see how it would work! Makes it 20 times more difficult though as there are soooo many unbelievers out there or "fake" believers! I do believe that God has a plan for us and that if we obey him and live good christian lives he will hear our prayers....maybe when we least expect it :applause: Post Reply

I am divorced and was also engaged to a guy who took off and got married while engaged to me. We still talk but he is like a dad to my kids but we won't ever be anything more than friends. I don't know how or if I should bring that up to a guy but I don't want to be secretive either. Post Reply
