"take and honor the sabbath" can mean many different things for different people. What specifically are you looking for?

I think he is asking if anyone follows the Commandment to remember the Sabbath, to keep it holy.

I dont work on the Sabbath, unless I absolutely have to. I dont cook, clean, or do any physical labor. I cook the day before and just reheat it.

We are allowed to labor on the Sabbath if it is required. (Ox fallen in a ditch). Most of us do not have oxen, but I have helped my brother when his car broke down on the way home from church. I also repaired my dog's house when a tree fell on it during a storm. It was winter and without the house, my dog could have died.

I say it would also help if you specify if you mean the seventh (7th) day Sabbath which falls on Saturdays, or do you mean the Catholic sabbath which is called "The LORD's Day" which falls on Sundays.

I keep the 7th Day Sabbath, but I will also go to a Sunday church service too.

I mean honor the sabbath the way the Old Testament says to do so. No cooking buying or selling or working. I mean the seventh day sabbath as in Saturday as well. Hope this helps :excited:

Yes you are right and that is the sabbath I am referring to. I also believe there are exceptions for working on the sabbath including the ones you mentioned. It is lawful to do good on the sabbath as Christ said :yay:

Yes I am referring to the seventh day sabbath. As you said the catholic church changed it into Sunday as the book of Daniel well prophesizes about! I too go to a church on Sunday here and there cause I love the fellowship and praise and worship time. I have been blessed with one who actually lets the Spirit lead instead of having routine sermons.

I find that the Sabbath Day is a type of oxymoron as it contradicts itself.

Yet I keep the 7th Day Sabbath for some 27 years now and ongoing.

As in it is impossible to factually define whatever it means not to work.

I even heard a Pastor say that his job as a Pastor is to preach at the Sabbath service and that the Sabbath Day is his work day.

And it says that our servants are NOT to work, so the mailman and bus drivers and police and servants do work on every Sabbath.

And if we go to Church services on the Sabbath then we have to drive our car, and do we have to buy gasoline before the Sabbath? and what about setting up the chairs or setting out foods for the Sabbath congregation?

Of course Jesus said to do right on the Sabbath was okay.

As such keeping the Sabbath correctly can be a very complicated thing to do.
