Posted : 20 Jul, 2013 04:58 AM Is it just me or ARE all the loving, ''seemingly'' genuine brothers all somewhere in a far off land???? lol lol It's just funny how very rarely you will get to meet and click with someone who lives a stone-throw away huh :rolleyes: I mean, I have chatted to a few people and must say that decency and intentional commitment oddly seems to reside in the lads/men/brothers who live miles away!!!!! No disrespect to anyone at all ~ however I have found that it is a case of either a possibility of an LDR ( Long Distance Relationship ) or constant attempts from scammers, liars or perverts. Secondly ~ (and this one is more to my sisters out there) ~ is it actually right for us (ladies) to put ourselves on a date site?? I mean......is it proper, is it christian and / or is it frowned upon??? Just curious. Be blessed people :glow: Post Reply

I am not knocking the brothers abroad , but many times a couple of them may be on their best behaviors just to get your attention. (I am sure there will be honest ones too.) When it comes to dating, we must be prayerful and patient. God will order / direct you to the man He has for you . The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord (Psalm 37 : 23) I have come to realize that one thing the enemy fights so hard is the institution of marriage. So as saints we must be very prayerful on the dating / marriage issue. As for your last question. From a biblical perspective, there is nothing wrong joining a dating site. Just be led by the Holy Spirit at all times. Please still be prayerful as you meet people on Christian sites. God has just one man for you . So pray against the many counterfeits that the devil may flood your profile with. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.( Romans 8 : 14 ) Post Reply
