The true beauty of God shines from within and outward. But, today we live in a time where true beauty is ignored. Those that are disabled with flaws are laughed at and looked at like they are unfit for love, in which the idea of love for those that are less desirable is looked at with disdain because he or she is put out to pasture due to their limitations. Thus, they are not the beautiful people. We should look to Jesus in all things.

Let the words speak for themselves.

Blessings for the day.

Amen! Excellent post.

It's written in I Corinthians 1:26 & 27

For you see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble are called.

But God has chosen the foolish things of the world, to confound the wise: and God has chosen the weak things of the world, to confound the things which are mighty.

And in Isaiah 53:2

He (Jesus Christ) had nothing in his appearance that would make us desire him.

Many years ago I was relentlessly seeking Jesus from church to church but all I heard were vague stories about him. I was left thirsting after him but could not find him. I didn't actually see Jesus alive until I met a poor blind girl who had so much joy that everything about her blessed life exhibited Christ Jesus.

There was nothing about that young woman in the flesh that was what the world would call beautiful. Most people mocked her and I myself thought she was weird. But her constant joy and her neighborly love toward me brought me to my knees!

One day I fell down at her feet and cried, "I want the Jesus you have!" And she laughed and replied, "He has YOU! He's the one calling you to him."

Praise God for using that most beautiful spirit filled woman to bring me to know him. :applause:

That's a wonderful story.

Proverbs 31:30 (ESV)

30 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,

but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

It is my experience though that not all attractive people have bad hearts and not all unattractive people have good hearts.

Matthew 7 (ESV)

15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. 18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.

2 Corinthians 11 (ESV)

14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.

Galatians 5 (ESV)

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

So charm is deceptive, Satan is the father of lies and many who are evil try to act as angels of light or sheep. The only way you can really tell if they are from God and/or a Christian is by their fruit. Unfortunately, because of bias, we often ignore the signs of lack of fruit. So although I believe God gave us this key to recognizing people we still need His help to gain wisdom and understanding to see through the muck. I have not in my past relationships and I have paid the price.

This so true.

May God help us to see the REAL beauty.

Anyone can be disabled, some are caused by accidents,so no one is above disability.

If only we could learn to appreciate one another regardless of the looks.

God's love is for all.

This is a good post.
