Hannah,the wife Elkanah ,though faithfully praying to God, has reached to a point of desperation of having a child�(1 sam.1:16 ) >I too has experienced many times of desperation in my life but God has been faithful in reaching me out at my lowest point - a point wherein you couldn�t even recognized the line between giving up and holding on to God. II. Hannah ,though in her deep anguished and misery has never questioned God of her barrenness but instead she touched the heart of God as she wept bitterly , vowed to God �I will him (samuel) to the LORD for all the days of his life � (1 samuel 1:11) >Have you ever felt like the same as of Hannah, a point in time where in you feel useless and abandon because of your human in-capabilities ? A feeling of, your almost at the end of yourself and that you just knew in your heart that it�s only GOD that you can turn to. A feeling of brokenness where in you don�t how to be whole again,and when you turned around once again, you find the hand of God just waiting to restore you. III. Hannah , said � After the boy is weaned, I will take him (samuel) and present him before the LOrd, and he will live there always�(1 sam.1:21) >Hannah honored God above all else,enough reason to sacrificed her love to his son. > Have you ever been into a separation anxiety with someone? each one us has experienced this thing and there is no easy way to handle it .You just have to get through with it. You just have to asked God to grant you the grace and wisdom to understand His purpose behind every sacrifices,every pain .. Post Reply
