Racing newsPosted : 3 Sep, 2007 04:34 AMNASCAR this past weekend was in Fontana, California where in both the Busch and Nextel Cup races there were some scary wrecks-from Brad Keselowski on Saturday night to Michael Waltrip's car catching fire from a blown tire and Ricky Rudd breaking his shoulder in a late race wreck on Sunday night. Luckily the SAFER barriers made every accident a bit safer, plus the safety devices in the car as well. |

Racing newsPosted : 8 Sep, 2007 11:18 PMWOW! OMG! A bunch of no talent drivers make a decision whether or not to overtake the guy in front of him in order to decide how much fuel to use and when...wow. All the while making a bunch of left turns! Thats so NOT AMAZING! Give me a car with a modern fuel injected engine, high reving, low drag coeffienct, down force that EXCEEDS the weight of the vehicle and a track that requires some technique like heel-toe, increasing-radius turns, u turns, left AND RIGHT turns and how about making one after the other without having a long straight away in the middle. That sounds like a race to me. |

Racing newsPosted : 15 Sep, 2007 08:12 PMThere's a lot of Physics involved as aerodynamics is a big part of racing. It is pretty cool on how you can race a veichle pretty hard into a turn with slicks and not spin out. |
