10 Commandments VS. 10 planks to the Communist Manifesto
Posted : 21 Apr, 2010 06:04 PM

I guess I should start at the beginning, which was at a meeting of the Idaho patriots in March of 1979. That meeting, held in the Mardi Gras Restaurant with Steve Gibson as the featured speaker, changed my life forever. 'So,' you ask with baited breath, 'What wonderful insight did he impart? What mystic knowledge did he pass on?' None really... all he did was look us straight in the face and call us all, each and every one of us, practicing communists. Some people would have called those fighting words, and I admit I wasn't too happy to be called one being the red-blooded American taxpaying pillar of the Boise business community that I was. Shoot, I'd even voted a straight Republican ticket and was a paid-up member of every major business organization in Boise. To say I disagreed with his assessment would be mild. Yet, his statement haunted me when I went to work the next day. Finally, just before noon, I called in my secretary and asked her to drop by the public library on her lunch break and pick me up a copy of the Communist Manifesto. After lunch, she dropped off the copy, and I started reading. Over the next several weeks, as time and my schedule allowed, I researched it, the Scriptures and, even, acts of Congress, to see if there were a basis in law or fact for what Steve said. There was, and here's my report.

In 1848, Carl Marx, at the age of 30, entered a competition sponsored by the International Socialist Union of Paris, France. His submission was the 10 Planks of the Communist Manifesto, which won. The rest, as they say, is history.

The First Plank is relatively simple: Abolition of property in land, and application of all rents of land to public purposes. Let's see what we have in America today. In Idaho alone, 64% of the state is public land, held 'in trust' by either the state or the federal government. If you or I want to use that land, we have to go to the appropriate agency and rent it or pay royalties on anything we remove from it or pay 'use fees' if all we want to do is go camping. This money goes into the agency's treasury and from there to the state or federal treasury. In addition to the rental of public lands, there are taxes on private property. Using Idaho as our example, if 64% is 'public' land, then 36% must be 'private' land, right? Wrong! The state levies a property tax on such 'private' land, and if you don't pay, orders a tax sale to get its money from you one way or the other. If you don't pay, you lose the land. Sound like all the term 'property owner' means is 'property renter'? The conclusion is clear: We've lost our right to property in land in allodial freehold, and have been reduced to nothing more than feudal serfs, living on the king's land and paying our land use fees in the form of taxes. We'd come full circle from the Plantation of Rhode Island in 1776 to the Plantation of Idaho in 1979.

And, if you ask, 'How should things be?' let me quote from Scripture, where in Leviticus 25:23 it says: 'The land shall not be sold forever for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.' Quite a difference from the BLM, the EPA, the DNR and such things as 'eminent domain.'

Moving on to the Second Plank, we read: A heavy progressive, or graduated, income tax. Talk about simple to figure out. Just ask your neighbor if there's an income tax. The Federal government and all but 5 (at last count) state governments impose some form of income tax. I rest my case.

Going to Scripture again, we have Malichi 3:8-12, which reads: 'Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes unto the storehouse that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts. And all nations shall call you blessed for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts.' Talk about a difference from filling out a Form 1040 according to the IRS Code.

The Third Plank is also a fairly short one: Abolition of all right of inheritance. Yet, most people will say, 'Oh, that's not in force. I know because my Aunt Matilda just died and left me some money.' My question is: How much did she leave you, and how much did she leave the State? The reason the State gets into the picture is almost always the result of a marriage license. When you sign that short little form, you've entered into a 3 party limited general partnership with you, your spouse and the State as equal partners. Over the life of the contract, the two active parties (husband and wife) work, create and produce things, such as money, children, property of all kinds, etc. Then one day, your spouse dies and, after you bury them, you sit down to see what you have. Around this time, someone from the State knocks on the door saying there's a small matter of inheritance tax. What they're really saying is: I'm still a partner, the partnership hasn't been dissolved, I want out, so buy me out. The State figures that it's paid for the kids' education, school lunches, AFDC, etc. etc. etc. so they've done their part in making the partnership work. All they want is their third. Which, when you look at most inheritance taxes, means you pay from 28% to 35% of the estate to Uncle Sam, or his duly appointed representative.

Again, looking at how this should be, we read in Deuteronomy 21:15-17: 'If a man have two wives, one beloved and another hated, and they have borne him children, both the beloved and the hated and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated then it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit, that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the hated, which is indeed the firstborn. But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his.' Nothing about estate taxes, probate court, etc.

Going to the Fourth Plank, we read: Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels. Need time to think about that? While you are, think about Waco, Ruby Ridge, the Montana Freemen... well, you get the idea. This is called, in legalese, 'municipal police power' and means that if you get hostile and belligerent to the government, they can take everything away from you under the guise of IRS liens, tax levies, seizures, fines, and anything else they can think of... And, if you're still mad, and complaining? Then they get to throw you in jail.

How does Scripture deal with rebels and such? Read Leviticus 26:4-6: 'But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; and if you shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgements, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant, I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.' At least God doesn't mess around when you screw up, he takes it all... your life and your toys.

Looking at the Fifth Plank, we read: Centralization of credit in the hands of the State by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly. Ever hear of the Federal Reserve system. That's not real money floating around out there. Read what it says at the top: Federal Reserve NOTE! As in promissory note. There's precious little 'real' money left out there. It might not be too much longer before we move beyond that and straight into electronic money, completely controlled by the banks, who ultimately answer to the Fed. We're on our way with things like credit cards, checking cards, debit cards, direct deposit, etc. Looks like #5 has been in effect since around 1913.

And what does Scripture say? Read Deuteronomy 25:13-16: 'Thou shalt not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and a small. Thou shalt not have in thine house divers measures, a great and a small. But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have, that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto the Lord thy God.' Speaks pretty plainly, doesn't it?

Going to the Sixth Plank, we find: Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State. Let's see, we have driver's licenses, vehicle registration, vehicle licensing, and that's just 'private' transportation. If you look at 'public' transportation like planes, trains and buses, do you have any doubt that if the government says 'Jump' they don't ask 'How high?' And let's not even think about communications. The Internet community is just the latest to get hit with the heavy hand of government regulation. People who wouldn't normally even acknowledge each other's existence are on the same side, fighting to retain freedom of expression on the Net. TV, radio, cable, newspapers - they all bow to the mighty FCC. And Executive Orders #10995 and #10999 are just waiting to be signed, giving the government open and direct control over transportation and the media.

And what does Scripture say about traveling? Let's look at Exodus 16:29: 'See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.' Apparently, so long as you don't travel on the Sabbath, God doesn't see much of a need to regulate or control such things.

Now, the Seventh Plank is a bit more complex: Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan. Let's examine this one item by item. Now about the extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State. Most people would go, 'Oh, you mean like those big Russian factories. We don't have that here. We have GM, Ford, US Steel. They're all privately owned.' Or are they? Each and every factory in the US operates and exists on the sufferance of the government, which licenses and regulates their existence and activities in return for a portion of the proceeds (called taxes). I think that qualifies as ownership. And we've certainly expanded the number of factories and corporations in the US over the past 150 years. As to the bringing into cultivation of wastelands, how many of you have seen the dams on the Colorado River, just to name one river? While they do produce electricity, ask any rancher or farmer out there what their main purpose is, and he'll tell you: water for irrigation. In that part of the west it's: No water, no farms. So, they've done that part too. As for the improvement of the soil generally, in accordance with a common plan, how many of you have ever heard of the ASC (Agricultural Stabilization Center)? Any rural county has one of their offices; their job is to hand out government information, funds and materials to help with the general improvement of the American farm. And how many farmers have taken part in government programs ranging from paid non-cultivation of land to low-interest loans for 'general land improvement' (provided you do it their way, of course)? I think we can consider that covered as well.

And Scripture? Look at Leviticus 25:8-24 to see how God handles this: 'And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed. For it is the jubilee; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field. In the year of this jubilee ye shall return every man unto his possession. And if thou sell ought unto thy neighbour, or buyest ought of thy neighbour's hand, ye shall not oppress one another: According to the number of years after the jubilee thou shalt buy of thy neighbour, and according unto the number of years of the fruits he shall sell unto thee: According to the multitude of years thou shalt increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of years thou shalt diminish the price of it: for according to the number of the years of the fruits doth he sell unto thee. Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am the LORD your God. Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety. And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety. And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase: Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years. And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store. The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me. And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.' Looks like God has a very specific plan to keep things going, and not let the land be depleted.

The Eighth Plank reads: Equal liability of all to labor, establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture. How many listened to President Clinton at that Volunteer Summit? Especially when he said that to be a good citizen you had to get a job and pay taxes? How about last year's 'workfare' bill, where to get money from the government, you have to work? I'm not saying the idea of working is wrong, but the government is implementing it so that you have to work on their terms such as by having insurance, a SSN, filling out a 1040 each April. And those industrial armies? Go back to the 1930s and look at things like the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) and the WPA (Works Project Administration). How about today's Americorps?

How about Scripture? In Deuteronomy 24:14-15, we read: 'Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates; at his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it; lest he cry against thee unto the Lord, and it be sin unto thee.' Let's see... simple, straightforward, and no hidden catches to make sure that he's really a slave, with no say and no rights.

The Ninth Plank is one of the most ambitious: Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country by a more equitable distribution of population over the country. This needs to be handled in two parts. The first is relatively simple. Ever hear of Archer Daniel Midland? Visited a major dairy or meat outfit recently? Between the multinational agri-conglomerates and the 'factory' farms you see, that part's been done for decades now. the second half is a little more difficult to see. While you may think that it's not been implemented, because there are still cities and still rural areas, let's look again. In 1920, the US population was about 100 million and the number of people living on farms was about 44 million, so nearly half the population was on a farm or in some other rural setting. By 1940, the population on farms had dropped to 32 million. In 1950, 15 million. 1970, 6 million. 1985, 3 million. And the estimate is that by 2000 there will be roughly 100,000 farmers or agribusiness corporations producing all agricultural products in the US. And cities have also taken a hit in terms of the overall population. While some cities have grown, like LA, others like Chicago, St. Louis, Dallas, etc. have actually lost population over the past 40 years. The result: the ubiquitous suburbs, neither urban nor rural but, originally, a blend of both. This is the result of the largest population migration since the Middle Ages. So, the Ninth Plank is firmly in operation today.

And what does God say on this? In Leviticus 25:1-7, we read: 'And the LORD spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD. Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof; But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard. That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land. And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee, And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.' Pretty simple. No talk of anything but good stewardship and obeying the Law.

At last we reach the tenth Plank: Free Education for all children in public schools; abolition of children's factory labor in its present form; combination of education with industrial production. Did you attend public school? How about your kids? What most people don't realize is that even so-called 'private' schools, and their curriculum, are government controlled these days. Any school that accepts government funding has to abide by government strictures. The first public schools were founded in the 1830s and, as late at the WWI, they weren't too common outside the big cities. Now, they're everywhere, and non-public school education is the fast-fading exception to the rule. As for the abolition of children's factory labor in its present form, the government took care of that before WWI. They just shipped the concept of child factory labor overseas. And combining education with industrial production? Well, the US is thinking of following the Japanese and Germans, where you take a test designed to see what your potential is and, if you don't score high enough, they ship you to the nearest factory for a nice apprentice education. Model programs have already been set up in some big cities. Looks like this one's been around for a while too.

And Scripture? Read Deuteronomy 4:9-10: 'Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life, but teach them thy sons, and thy son's sons; specially the day that thou stoodest before the Lord thy God in Horeb, when the Lord said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.' Sounds like a simple plan for home schooling, not cramming thirty kids into an overcrowded room with one frazzled babysitter, who has to make sure she follows the government mandated truth of the week.

Now take a simple test. For each one of the 10 Planks that you participate in, or are subject to the effects of, give yourself 10 points. Most people won't give themselves 100 points, but I'd bet that you have at least 50 on your list. If you get any points, you're a practicing communist. You probably didn't plan it that way, but that's where the rubber meets the road.

10 Commandments VS. 10 planks to the Communist Manifesto

No, too azy to read it all. But one question to think about:

Do you dislike communism for its name or do you dislike communism for what it means?

I mean, it seems (for an superficial read, I don't want to waste too much time on this) like you take the name Marx and take for granted everything he said was wrong because he was a commie, right?

So what if Marx also said Christ had died for our sins? Woud you reject this idea because it is what a commie said?

Wat I mean is: Attact the content with good reasons, and not the name to get arguments against the actual situation in your country. It was a different situation Marx was writing about back then. He was German, Germany was a monarchy and poor people really didn't have a lot to laugh. Giving them "freedom" would bring them nowhere, because freedom aone won't fill their stmachs, so they'd still have to work for less than appropriate to get their families through. In these situations people nee a way to get out. They fin it in crime, they find it in prostitution, they find it if there is a war and they can enlist to earn their living.

All things we do oppose as Christians, don't we? So let's not attac the commies for seeing the problem, let's talk with them about the appropriate way out.

God bless you all

De Benny

10 Commandments VS. 10 planks to the Communist Manifesto
Posted : 6 May, 2010 08:02 AM

I'm not opposed to communism at all, I'm just stating that you cannot practice the law of God and communism at the same time because they contradict each other. It's hard to explain this in a short paragraph, so I'll only state 7 planks that hit us the hardest.

1.Marx: Expropriation of property in land and all rents of land to public purposes.

Expropriation means taking by the state. This is a violation of God's Commandment "Thou shalt not steal". God makes this specific (Deut 2:3ff) where he tells Moses that even he may not take what belongs to others but must pay for everything he and the Israelites eat and drink with silver. And God tells Moses that he is not entitled to so much as foot of land belonging to others. By this Commandment God recognizes and affirms private property ownership.

2.Marx: A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.

When Peter was confronted by the tax collectors to know if Jesus did NOT pay their tax...Peter agreed Jesus did not (Mt 17:24-25). Again Jesus is confronted with whether it is lawful to pay Caesar's taxes (Mt 22:15-22) and Jesus looks at the coin with the emperor's image on it and says "Render to Caesar what belongs to him and to God what belongs to God." The word render does not mean "to give"...it means "to give back".

To give back to Caesar what is his does not mean to give or render to Caesar what belongs to others or to God. Gold and silver coin belongs to God, fiat paper money belongs to Caesar(the state). This is why central banks are BAD.

3.Marx: Abolition of all rights of inheritance.

Your children cannot inherit what was expropriated through coercion by the state.

4.Marx: Confiscation of all property of all emigrants and rebels.

If you protest socialist government policies or try to leave the jurisdiction of the socialist government it will confiscate all of your property. This includes your body because...as you will see below...you have a liability to the state to enforced labor according to its dictates. This violates God's Commandment "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's goods." As above...in this Commandment God affirms the right to one's private property. This is happening in Arizona right now, even to legal emigrants.

5.Marx: Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly

The private central bank has existed since 1913 as the Federal Reserve. All of the notes in circulation as paper money or as computer digits are borrowed and must be paid back at interest. Every time the Congress borrows...in your name...a billion here or there for a socialist program...your children and grandchildren will have to pay that back. That is the reason why the enforced labor provision...and the inability to escape it...is central to socialist government. (Google "US domestic army"). This amounts to stealing the labor and resources of future generations in violation of God's Commandments about not stealing and about not coveting thy neighbor's property. It is also important to understand that it doesn't matter if they print a $1 bill or a $100 bill, they all cost only 3 cents to print. That's one of the most destructive parts of communism and why the world economies are collapsing today. See Leviticus 19:35

6.Marx: Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State.

This is already a practice through the FCC's control of the airwaves. Also...501(c)(3)churches cannot express their lack of support for politicians who are morally degenerate or habitual liars. That is...such churches that have contracted to be supervised by the government cannot fulfill their moral obligation to enforce God's laws against bearing false witness or stealing or partial birth abortion in vioaltion of the Commandment "Thou shalt not kill".

10.Marx: Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labour in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, &c., &c

Education in public schools makes it impossible for parents to pass on to their children God's Ten Commandments (especially since those children may be "redistributed" elsewhere). All children will be educated to socialist government propaganda in its schools. They may never learn of the existence of God's laws (Google "Ten Commandments outlawed"). They will not be children of God...they will be children of state bureaucrats and will go to school part time and work part time where the government needs them in order to fulfill the other tenets of the socialist program. This violates the First Commandment..."I am the Lord they God...thou shalt not have strange gods before me."

Also see Deuteronomy 4:9.

You probably went to public school right DeBenny? That's probably why you think communism is a pretty good deal, it's what you were taught. Communism is a good deal if you don't mind the state owning all of your property and your children while "taking care" of you through centralized government programs. But there still are some of us who believe we can survive on our own like Abraham, Isaac and Jacob did.

10 Commandments VS. 10 planks to the Communist Manifesto
Posted : 18 May, 2010 11:11 AM

Jamie,

of course I went to public school, because there was no private school nearby in the rural place I grew up and homeschooling is prohibited in Germany to hinder society braking up to several groups, which would brake the back of the state (I have a feeling like something like this might lay ahead in the states, as some conservatives and liberals are not even able to talk to one another as they don't understand the other's language - literally. But this is your problem).

You might wonder I still had religious education, because this is a constitutional right in Germany, to have religious ediucation in school, according to the religious group you belong to, if the group does get in touch with the state to have teachers for their religion. I know this is plainly unthinkable in the states, as homeschooling is nthinkable here.

But let's see your points:

1. Expropriation of property.

You are right that the bible says "thou shalt not steal". But this is a commandment to the poeple, not necessarily to the government. We read in the Pentateuch that the land was given to the different tribes when they came to the promised land. And land was not to be sold but remained with the owners.

In the book of kings we read about Abot's vineyard, and how Ahas tried to buy it, which Abot did not let happen, based on the law. It was unlawful to sell it. So how can one justify the land as it is sold and bought today? A communist state (back then states were represented by the tribes, the tribes' territory made up the country, as it is now the states' territory that make up the country) might be closer to this original biblical ideal of land not being sold, but belonging to the tribe, the state, thus getting it out of the hands of specultants, having it available for the common good.

Besides that, the bible also tells us to obey the government in Rom 13. So I am not sure if the private property is really guarde by the bible. No peer can take property away from you, but the state has even the right to kill you for the sake of the common good.

The verses in Deuteronomy you mention are about not taking from the Edomites (Sons of Esau) because their land is theirs. This isn't about private property, this is about state property, as the text refers to the tribe of Esau. It does not say that there are single people who have their own property, it speaks of the land of Edom, which belongs to the Edomites. This is like the land of the USSR was the land of the Soviet People (by definition, we know this meant the leadership had all rights and the people had no say). But still this does not mean, that it must be unbiblical to have common property.

So as there is no verse in the bible I can think of that says: Thou shall have the right to have private property, I think the possibility to socialise your property for the common good is something that is possible and not unbiblical for a government to do.

The question is, whether it is sensible for a government to do this, according to financial interest etc. But there is a difference between Wall street and scripture.

2. Income Tax

I always understood it as gicing back to Ceasar what belongs to him, yeah. But each coin we have comes from the state, modern day's ceasar. Every US coin has the US signs of state on it, like every German coin (although we share the Euro with other European countries) has the signs of the German Ferderal Republic on it. French coins have French signs etc...

How come you say gold and silver coins would belong to God? If they are given out by the state, and contain the signs of the state? And how does on the other hand paper money belong to the state?

Still I say, we are to follow the government where it is not against God. And God does nowhere say we shall only give a certain amount of money or property to the state. The state has the responsibility to take care of its people. But on the other hand it can also demand all from its people, except it wants something that is against God's will, like donations to false gods or braking of commandments, like killing the innocent or even hurting them. But we cannot stand up and make a rule where and when tax is too high from the bible. The state is there to care for our good. If it takes all from us and gives us back what we need, there is nothing wrong. If the state is not giving us back what we need, we can testify that the government is doing this and that wrong, but we still are to obey and endure.

3. Rights of inheritance:

See private property. I find nowhere in the bible that there was a god given right to inheritance.

4. See again private property. And Rom 13. The state can do whatever it thinks fits. Your peer cannot take away things from you etc, but the state is set in as superior to you (we living in democracies for long times might have forgotten this, but Christianity isn't reduced to democracy, after all, Christ is the KING). The neighbour of the state is not the inhabitant, but the neighbouring state. And there you are rihgt: It is not just to steal territory etc from fellow states. I'd agree with that.

This doesn't mean I support what is happening in Arizona, or what happend in Cuba or China or Eastern Europe back then, but I would never base this on a biblical right to property, as I do not see this exists. I would rather base my points on the constitution of my home country. Even the government, in my country, has to stick to the constitution and the laws, and if they do something unlawful, I can accuse them of doing so, for even the government is to follow the superior rulers, in this case the constitution, and after all we are a democracy, so it is also the people.

But if the constitution doesn't prohibit a thing and the people don't vote a party that has other ideas, there is in so far nothing wrong that I could see...

5. Centralisation of credit etc

Again, the government has the right to do anything that is not against God's will. Yes, governments throughout the world are stealing from future generations. Thsi is as things go, and everybody does it. This doesn't make things right, but after all, we voted those into office who do so. And it doesn't play a big role if the money is used for a "socialist" program, or for buying more guns to invade more contries, each party has their own favorites, the thing is the money is spent.

The government does on the one hand have the right to do what it thinks fits, but it has to be responsible at the same time. We as voters have to be responsible as well. We have, in western democracies many ways to influence the whole thing. In many cases, we are just too lazy. After all, we are the kings our our countries, not the presidents, prime ministers or chancellors. They are just our administrators and have to do what we want.

It is always better having a wise government than having an unwise one, as all will have to suffer from the unwise government's decisions. Bt still we are to follow them and not riot, only when they try to make you brake God's commandments you can stay passive and do nothing. But you still have to face the consequences. Ever heard of Paul Schneider?

6. Centralisation of communication etc

I'd only have to repeat myself. The bible does not give us a right to democracy and freedom. We are blessed where we have it and we can do whatever is possible within our system to hold it up: Start your own party, propagate what you consider better etc. There's plenty you can do.

But still the state is allowed to centralise communication. It is not allowed to make you shut up when you want to speak of the Lord. But you have no God given right to evangelize via radio, internet and what not without the state hindering you. Paul was hindered by the state, and still wrote to obey the authorities (this is the word I've been looking for earlier).

If the state thinks it is best for the common good to centralise communication, it can do so. If the state doesn't allow you to evangelise via radio, you can start accusing the stae or preach old style in the streets. They are not allowed by God to shut you up, but they are allowed to set the conditions, in order to keep peace in the society and keep up the common good.

10. Free education

The bible hardly ever speaks about schools as far as I remember. You are to teach your children about God, but the bible doesn't say you couldn't do this on sundays, when there is no school. It doesn't say the state was not allowed to disallow religious education in their schools. But I see no reason why school should not be obligatory. It serves the common good to have a good standard of education. I know the public school system isn't the best, especially looking to some places in the states (things work differently here, but nothing is rosy either).

It is not that I went to public school that I think communism is a good deal. I don't want it and I do not like it. But I see no reason why a communist state would be by definition against God's will. You can have all this centralisation and still have a government that lets you pray and evangelise all the time. It might be you do not make as much money as wyou would in a free market economy, but on the other hand those who live on the streets would have a roof above their heads.

A part of my country has been under communist rule for over 40 years, and they suffered a lot. But still, some things were better than they are now. People had jobs, people had something to live on. They did not get bananas, and they had to wait like 14 years until they got a car from ordering it to delivering. But they could live their lives in some kind of low whealth stanard. Nowadays poeple can make holidays in Egypt, but also some don't even have enough money, and have no chance to ever earn enough, to get through the month without support from private groups, and some even have to live on the street.

The government of the GDR did many things plainly wrong and torrtured their people. But now, in the free system, the state is still not able to care for the inhabitants and have the public good installed. Many things are wrong today, too, although there is private property etc. But it is there only for the strong, the educated, the intelligent. If your skills are below average, you have to see for yourself. I wonder such a system is more godly than one that cuts down freedoms of the srtong and rich.

Abraham, Isaac and Jacob lived as herdsmen. There might be still big plains in the states to feed your cattle and what not. In Germany it is not so. Our 80 million couldn not all live on herdsmanship. So there needs to be something else.

Ok, obviously you don't get it so I'm just going to point you to Proverbs 23:9. I can't get any more clear with the facts here and I'm not here to convince you that I'm right and you're wrong. All I can say is look at history, the ten commandments always worked and communism has always failed. You need to understand that the leading governments of this planet have an agenda, the 'New World Order', they've already merged Europe, now they're working on the 'North American Union' to merge Canada, U.S. and Mexico. The final plan is to have a one world government under a commnist/socialist dictatorship (satan). They've been working on this since the tower of Babel. There are plenty of government officials who have admitted this so I don't need you to believe me. I'm not here to argue with anyone, I'm just sharing information and giving people a "heads up".
