Admin	Promises .... promises Posted : 25 Aug, 2010 02:29 PM Hey guys me again lol! So i was talking with a friend today who share similar life experiences in terms of guy / girl relations. We've both been in this situation when we have had relationships with guys who claim to be patient with girls like us who though don't have our hearts on lockdown but don't really not just date but give ourselves freely in an emotional context with every guy. anyway they claim to be patient and things go well you help them out, pray with them, fast with them and when you open your heart to them they leave and take what they learnt and move on to healthy happy relationships and we're left a bit heartbroken cause you've finally opened up to someone. Why promise to be there in the first place and why do you think we actually believe them? Post Reply

What's funny though is that I was the one who was really holding up one of the end of the relationship. It's also funny that I pushed no issue he was the first one to say trust me and that no matter what he'd be there and love me. I've never really had that in life with like my father and brothers and what not so that's why I don't just enter into relationships because I don't want to use them to fill an emotional need it's not fair to them or to me cause we're shortchanging each other. I really thought he was the one again the fasting and praying was because he asked cause his granddad was sick and what not. I thought I was being a good friend and things just developed from there. The one thing is I don't begrudge him at all I still pray for him and my family. I know God has my someone out there already primed so I'm not worried it just hurts a mite.But al;l things work together right? I just wondered but who can really explain the human condition. I may not know why I had to go through this but God holds our tomorrows right. I think I have to get over this feeling of rejection. I've always been the one to get picked last or some girl is chosen over me but everybody has their match I guess. Thank God Jesus loves me lol One thing I do know the next guy is not going to pay for the mistakes of others I'm very forgiving and believe in giving many chances. Post Reply

He probably knows it too and isn't proud of himself which is why he hasn't contacted you and thinks it's better to just let it die and move on. There are plenty of good-great guys out there for you.
