Do We Pray Naked?

Hi Everyone,



When we pray do we pray naked before the Lord? Now wait a minute....I am not talking about this in a literal sense but a spiritual sense.



Do we strip the clothing of pride, arrogance and justification for sins?



How about our shoes? Yes the shoes that stepped on our brothers or sisters character by gossiping and backbiting them or even bearing a False Witness?



Heb 4:13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. NKJV



Let us not fool ourselves when we go to our Lord in prayer for we are all naked before Him who sees and knows everything! We may be able to hide from others and even ourselves but we cannot hide from a Holy and righteous God!



Ya know I was just thinking. If we were truly loving God and Jesus as we should and one another just as Christ commanded, then we would not have any shame in our spiritual nakedness before the Lord would we?

Thank you Martin for the post!



Even if he know us better than we do,we owe him great respect just like we can't expose our nakedness to everyone.



If some people get ashamed to expose their spiritual nakedness to God.So what does it take for one to cover your body with robes and get down to prayer?



What if you get carried away by the Holy Spirit and your kids come running to see mummy or daddy naked?



First they will listen to what kind of words come out of you they'll hear its prayer.The next thing you will find them praying in the compound naked.



Lets undress our moral before God and not our bodies not everyone will understand you!
