Whether working in with him out in the garden or having him help me with my homework....he always made the time, never made me wait in line.

The sacrifices he made will never be forgotten. He will be greatly missed, my Grandfather , my hero , and my friend.

That is a beautiful post. As men, we actually enjoy sacrificing for our families. I don't know if it is instilled in us by our fathers, or if it is just ingrained from birth, but our joy comes from being able to do for our loved ones. Being appreciated is a bonus.

My Grandfather was the kind of man I look at and think they sure don't make them like that anymore.

He always made time for his family..his heart was as big as the ocean when it came to the sacrifices he made in other peoples lives including those for his family:applause:
