are we buying the same book?

Just a question. and I will pose this question to anyone,

Would you date a person if they were not what the idea standard of outward bueaty is as what is defined by the media as attractive?

I have often wondered why we always seem to judge a book by its cover in our society never stopping to even glance past the cover to get to the coverpage.

every book has a different story in it...

unless we all go out and buy the same book. Sounds absurd I know. But it seems, everyone has to have something someone else has(the bible calls it coveting)- if not, something better...and the worlds standard of maturity and bueaty I don't think even fits the bill for all that God has in mind for us as His children.

God wants us to be blessed but there is a difference in being blessed and walking in His blessings and favor as oppssed to being materialistic. If these things all pass away, why should we then care?

Which leads to this question: are we buying the same book?
