Admin	Preparing for Submission Posted : 26 Jul, 2012 02:40 PM God designed marriage to be a living, breathing example of the hierarchy of heaven. In heaven, there are levels of authority. God is at the head and everything works outward from Him.Even among the angels there are levels of authority; angels, archangels. God's perfect design of order means that no one in the kingdom is overloaded with his or her duties. How can you break ou of the superwoman/man syndrome? The first step is recognizing and admitting you need help. The second step is ralizing your help lies in submission: submisson to God, submission to the mate that God provides. Post Reply

God is omnipotent, while a man is just simple flesh and blood, and prone to make err. It is also the duty of a wife to tell a man when he is making a mistake. A decent man does not want a "servant", he wants a real helpmeet. A woman who will help him in every way. A decent husband also listens to his wife and does not assume he is incapable of errors in thinking. Post Reply

You don't break out my friend, you admit your selfish ways, ask for His forgiveness as you ask Him into your heart...and He sets you free by your choice to let Him rule and reign within your life. His Spirit gives you a new way of thinking, a new way of living, and submission isn't something that is warranted but something embraced within your new life. The flesh (the superwoman/man syndrome) falls to the wayside because you've decided to let Him rule and reign instead of yourself. When He reigns within your soul anyone other than another Christian won't want to be with you, or they may want what you have themselves and become Christian by their choice (but before any kind of yoking could be even thought of). Submission one to another is then the norm:) Post Reply
