I agree. Some girls need to realize that if their perfect "Prince Charming" (one of my most hated cliches on this site) hasn't arrived, maybe it's because they're not a freakin' princess.

Fairy tales aren't real, but they were originally intent on teaching children lessons. They don't deny the existent of dragons, they show dragons can be defeated.



The Grimms were very religious. My personal favorite, Hans Andersen, was much the same--despite his shortcomings.



Einstein said if you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales. There's a lot more than Prince Charming in them.
