What does being a Christian mean to you?

I know many Christians go to church, and try to live a good life, some have a daily quiet time, some read their Bible every day.



I like the Bible alot and there are other aspect of how we ought to live as Christians. Yet I beleive one aspect that is not part of it is judging others. So feel free. What does being a Christian mean to you and how does it influence your life.

For me - simply put: God takes care of me, my job is to care for others.

I feel that being a Christian is being "Christ-like." Not standing in judgement but there is a responsibility to the name. If you question whether Jesus would do this or that or be in this or that situation, it gives you pause to think before you act. He was a light into the world and made a difference...So should we upon carrying His name.

Being a Christian to me means displaying the fruits of the Spirit. Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentlness, and Self_Control. Galatians 5:22

for myself, it means:



free, unconditional acceptance from God who is on my side.

A struggle, of faith.

division in family, looking foolish to others, spiritual warfare.

testing of faith

victory

awe and fear of the power of God.
