A few days ago I began flowing a reading plan which will allow me to read the entire Bible by the end of 2018. Basically,, I have been reading a Psalm, a chapter from the New Testament and a couple of chapters from the Old Testament.
Has anyone else made a similar commitment?
What do you think of this way of reading the Bible?
The Roman Catholic Church in the 4th Century declared that Mary was a **VIRGIN** forever **AFTER** Jesus was born and that Jesus had no brothers and sisters that were born to Mary?? And on December 8th, 1854 the Roman Catholic Church declared that Mary was the only person in Bible history that was **SINLESS**!!????

Matthew 12:46,47: While Jesus was still talking to the crowd , His mother and **BROTHERS** {Adelphos} stood outside, waiting to speak to Him. Someone told Him, "Your mother and **BROTHERS** {Adelphos} are standing outside, waiting to speak to you." Jesus replied, " Who is my mother , and who are My brothers?" Pointing to His disciples, He said, **HERE** are My mother and My brothers. For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and **MOTHER!!"
Mark 8:19-21: Now Jesus' mother and **BROTHERS** came to see Him, bur they were not able to get near Him because of the crowd. Someone told Him, "Your mother and **BROTHERS** {Adelphos} are standing outside waiting to see you." Jesus replied, " **MY MOTHER** and brothers are those who hear God's Word and put it into practice!"
John 7:2,3: When the Jewish Festival of Tabernacles was near, Jesus' **BROTHERS** {Adelphos} said to Him, "Leave Galilee and go to Judea, so that your disciples there may see the works you do! No one who wants to become a public figure acts in secret. Since you are doing these things, show yourself to the world. For even His **OWN BROTHERS** did not believe in Him! {However, two of the brothers of Jesus named James and Jude believed later and wrote the inspired books of James and Jude!}
Mark 6:3: The Jews in Nazareth said, "Isn't this Mary's son and the **BROTHER** {Adelphgos} of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren't His **SISTERS** {Adelphe} here with us?"
Matthew 13:55,56: The Jews in Nazareth said, "Isn't this the carpenter's son? Isn't His mothers name Mary, and aren't His **BROTHERS** {Adelphos} **JAMES** {See Acts 1:14 & Luke 24:10 & Galatians 1:19 below!}, **JOSEPH** {See Mark 15:47 below!}, Simon and Judas? Aren't all His **SISTERS** {Adelphe} with us?"
Mark 15:46,47: He rolled a stone against the entrance of the tomb. Mary Magdalene and Mary the **MOTHER OF JOSEPH** saw where He was laid!
Luke 24:10: It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the **MOTHER OF JAMES**, and the others with them who told this to the apostles!
Acts 1:14: They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His **BROTHERS** {Adelphos}!!
I Corinthians 9:5: Paul said, Don't we have a right to take as believing wife along with us, as do the other Apostles and the **LORD'S BROTHERS** and Peter?
Galatians 1:19: Paul said, "I saw none of the other Apostles--only **JAMES THE LORD'S BROTHER**!!,
Matthew 1:24,25: When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as His wife. But he had **NO UNION WITH HER **UNTIL** she gave birth to a Son. And he gave Him the name Jesus!
Now the Roman Catholics state that the brothers and sister mentioned in the above Scriptures were really **COUSINS** since there is no Hebrew word for **COUSINS**. However, the NT was written in Greek, the most exact language in the world; and the Greek word for cousin is **ANEPSIOS** which is used in Colossians 4:10 which states: "My fellow prisoner Aristarchus sends you his greetings, as does Mark, the **COUSIN**{Anepsios} of Barnabas!!" And so the NT writers knew the exact word for cousins but **DID NOT USE IT** in referring to the brothers of Jesus and Mary's sons!!
Actually if Mary did not have union with her husband, Joseph, she would be sinning as per the NT command in I Corinthians 7:3,4: "The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise **THE WIFE TO HER HUSBAND**!! The wife's body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband!!"
Pope Pius IX declared the Immaculate Conception of Mary an article of faith on this day, December 8, 1854. According to his pronouncement in Ineffabilis Deus, Mary was given grace to be sinless??? Making Mary the only human person in Bible history to be sinless???

Why do Catholics believe in the immaculate conception of Mary, or the sinlessness of Mary, or the perpetual virginity of Mary, or the assumption of Mary body and soul into Heaven? True, none of these doctrines are explicitly stated in scripture---in the epistles---but they were passed down in the Church by word of mouth, so belief in them is **REQUIRED FOR SALVATION**????.

There will be only **TWO THRONES** in our eternal home: the New Jerusalem as per:
Revelation 22:3,4: The **THONE OF GOD** and of the **LAMB** will be in the City {The New Jerusalem} and His servants will serve Him.
Revelation 3:21: Jesus says, To him who overcomes I will give the right to sit with Me on **MY THRONE**, just as I overcame and sat down with My Father on **HIS THRONE**!!"
The Holy Spirit is not mentioned in Revelation but is called the seven spirits of 4 times in Revelation 1:4; 3:1; 4:5 and 5:6"
Revelation 1:4: Grace and peace to you from Him who is, and who was, who is to come, and from the seven spirits **BEFORE HIS THRONE** and from Jesus Christ!

John 16:12-15: Jesus says, "I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own, he will speak **ONLY WHAT HE HEARS** and he will tell you what is yet to come. They {The 7 spirits of God} will glorify Me because it is **FROM ME** that they will receive what they will make known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit {Or 7 spirits of God} will receive **FROM ME** what they will make known to you! {Since the 7 spirits of God also called the Holy Spirit, will inspire all the writers and the inspired words of the New Testament and with their spirit Jesus will baptize all His new believers!}

Ephesians 2:8,9: For it is by **GRACE** you have been saved, through **FAITH**�and this **NOT FROM YOURSELVES**, it is the **GIFT OF GOD**�not by works. So that no one can boast. For we are **GOD'S WORKMANSHIP**, created in Christ Jesus to do **GOOD WORKS**, which God prepared in advance for us to do! {And so God's **CHOSEN** saints who receive the **FREE GIFT OF FAITH** will all do **GOOD WORKS** because the are ** GOD'S WORKMANSHP**
Matthew 16:27: Jesus says, "The Son of Man is going to come in His Father's glory with His angels, and then He will **REWARD** each person according to what he has done!"
**AND SO SALVATION IS 100 PERCENT FREE AND ETERNAL **REWARDS** ARE 100 PERCENT EARNED**!!
Revelation 17:14: The will make war against the **LAMB** but the **LAMB** will overcome them because He is **LORD** of lords and King of kings and with Him will be His **CALLED**, **CHOSEN** and **FAITHFUL** followers!!{Riding on heavenly white horses as per Revelation 19:7-20!!}
The **ROSARY**, or prayer beads was introduced by Peter the Hermit, in the year 1090. Copied from Hindus and Mohammedans.
Fifteen Promises of the **ROSARY**
In the thirteenth century, Saint Dominic and Blessed Alan received the following promises from Our Lady for all those who faithfully pray the Rosary:
1.To all those who shall pray my Rosary devoutly, I promise my special protection and great graces.
2.Those who shall persevere in the recitation of my Rosary will receive some special grace.
3.The Rosary will be a very powerful armor against hell; it will destroy vice, deliver from sin and dispel heresy.
4.The rosary will make virtue and good works flourish, and will obtain for souls the most abundant divine mercies. It will draw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
5.Those who trust themselves to me through the Rosary will not perish.
6.Whoever recites my Rosary devoutly reflecting on the mysteries, shall never be overwhelmed by misfortune. He will not experience the anger of God nor will he perish by an unprovided death. The sinner will be converted; the just will persevere in grace and merit eternal life.
7.Those truly devoted to my Rosary shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.
8.Those who are faithful to recite my Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plenitude of His graces and will share in the merits of the blessed.
9.I will deliver promptly from purgatory souls devoted to my Rosary.
10.True children of my Rosary will enjoy great glory in heaven.
11.What you shall ask through my Rosary you shall obtain.
12.To those who propagate my Rosary I promise aid in all their necessities.
13.I have obtained from my Son that all the members of the Rosary Confraternity shall have as their intercessors, in life and in death, the entire celestial court.
14.Those who recite my Rosary faithfully are my beloved children, the brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ.
15.Devotion to my Rosary is a special sign of predestination.

Acts 4:11,12: Jesus is the stone you builders rejected, which has become the Cornerstone. Salvation is found in **NO ONE ELSE**, for there **NO OTHER NAME** given to mankind by which we must be saved!!
Deuteronomy 27:15: "Cursed is anyone who makes an idol--a thing detestable to the Lord!"
Jeremiah 4:1: "If you, Israel will return to Me," declares the Lord. "And put your detestable idols out of My sight!"
Jeremiah 7:30: The people of Judah have done evil in My eyes, declares the Lord. They have set up their detestable idols in the house that bears My name and have defiled it!"
Isaiah 44:6,9-11: This is what the Lord says... "All who make idols are nothing, all the things they treasure are worthless. Those who would speak up for them are blind; they are ignorant, to their own shame, Who shapes a god and casts an idol, which can profit nothing? People who do that will be put to shame!"
I Corinthians 6:9-10: Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor **IDOLATERS** nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were, But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!!
I Peter 4:2-4: Do not live the rest of your earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do--living in debauchery, lust, orgies, carousing and **DETESTABLE IDOLATRY**!!

**THE FATHER AND THE LORD JESUS ARE GOD BUT WHAT ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT OR 7 SPIRITS OF GOD**??
Revelation 1:4: Grace and peace to you from the Father and the **7 SPIRITS** **BEFORE HIS THRONE** and from Jesus Christ!Revelation 1:16: Jesus **HOLDS** seven stars in His right hand.
Revelation 1:20: The seven stars which I **HOLD** in My right hand are seven angels of the 7 churches.
Revelation 2:1: Jesus says, These are the words of Him who **HOLDS** the 7 stars in His right hand!
Revelation 3:1: Jesus says, "These are the words of Him who **HOLDS** the **7 SPIRITS OF GOD**!" {See John 16:12-15 below!}
Revelation 4:5: In front of the {Father's} **THRONE** 7 lamps were blazing. These are the **7 SPIRITS OF GOD**. {See Revelation 1:4 above}
Revelation 5:6: The **LAMB** had 7 horns and 7 eyes which are the **7 SPIRITS OF GOD** sent out into all the earth! {See John 16:12-15 below}
Revelation 8:2: I saw the 7 angels who **STAND BEFORE GOD** and 7 trumpets were given to them!! {See Revelation 1:4 and 4:5 above!}
And so Jesus **HOLDS** the 7 spirits of God in His right hand which **HE SENDS** out into all the earth.
John 16:12-15: Jesus says, "I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when the the spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. **HE WILL NOT SPEAK ON HIS OWN**; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will glorify Me because it is **FROM ME** that he will receive what he will make known to you. All that belongs to the Father is Mine. That is why I said the spirit **WILL RECEIVE FROM ME** what he will make known to you.
The holy spirit or 7 spirits of God which Jesus holds in His right hand will inspire all the writers of the New Testament with all the words given him by the Lord Jesus which are **ALSO** all the words given to Him by the Father!
John 14:20,23,24: Jesus says, "On that day you will realize that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am {My Spirit} in you... Anyone who loves Me will obey **MY TEACHING**. My Father will love them, and We will come to them and make Our home with them...These words you hear are not My own; they belong to the Father who sent Me!
John 10:27-30: Jesus says, "My sheep listen to My voice, I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, no one can snatch them out of My hand. My Father, **WHO HAS GIVEN THEM TO ME** is **GREATER THAN ALL**; no one can snatch them out of My Father's hand. I and My Father are **ONE**!"
John 17:17: Jesus says to His Father, "Sanctify them by the truth **YOUR WORD** is Truth!!"
Titus 2:13:**WE wait for the **BLESSED HOPE--the glorious appearing of our **GREAT GOD** and Savior, Jesus Christ!!
Jesus is called **GOD** 7 times in God's Word and is called **LORD** over 200 times in the New Testament, and is **WORSHIPED** 12 times in the New Testament, and God's Word tells us to only **WORSHIP GOD**!! However, even though Jesus is God; Jesus also admits, "The Father is **GREATER** than I", as per John 14:28!
John 6:37,39,65: Jesus says, "All those the Father gives Me will come to Me, and whoever comes to Me I will **NEVER** drive away!... And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall **LOSE NONE** of all those He has given Me; but raise them up at the Last Day... No one can come to Me **UNLESS** the Father has enabled them!"
Luke 3:16: John the Baptist said, "I baptize you with water. But One who is more powerful than I will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire!!"
And so Jesus baptizes with the Holy Spirit and fire all whom God the Father and God has chosen and given to Him!!
It is interestring to note that the holy spirit or seven spirits who stand before the Father's throne, are never called **GOD** or **LORD**, or that they are **ONE** with God the Father, or that they are **ONE** with the Lord Jesus! Also there is not one word in Scripture which even implies that the holy spirit or 7 spirits should be **WORSHIPED* as is the Lord Jesus and the Father!!
It is also very interesting to note that there will only be **TWO THRONES** for Jesus and His Father in the eternal heavenly New Jerusalem as per Revelation 22:3: **THE THRONE OF GOD AND OF THE LAMB** will be in the City!!! {The New Jerusalem} Why doesn't the holy spirit or 7 spirits, who stand before the Father's **THRONE**, have a **THRONE** of their own???
Revelation 3:21: Jesus says, "To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with Me on **MY THRONE**, just as I overcame and sat down with My Father on **HIS THRONE**!!
Ephesians 4:7,11-16: To each one of us grace has been given **AS CHRIST APPORTIONED IT**... So Christ Himself {Not the church or the holy spirit} gives some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to equip His people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach the unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ... Speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of Him who is the **HEAD**, that is, **CHRIST**. **FROM HIM** the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work!!
In all of Pauls letters except Hebrews and I Thessalonians Paul gives the exact same greeting in Romans 1:7; I Corinthians 1:3; 2 Corinthians 1:2; Galatians 1:3; Ephesians 1:2; Phillipians 1:2; Colossians 1:2 2 Thessalonians 1:1; I Timothy 1:2; 2 Timothy 1:2; Titus 1:4; Philemon 1:3:
"Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord!!"
And in I Thessalonians 1:1 and 2 Thessalonians 1:1 Paul adds: "To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!"
It is interesting to note that the holy spirit is **NEVER MENTIONED** in any of these introductions in any of Paul's letters!
And in Hebrews 1:1-3,6,8; Paul is inspired to write: "In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful word... God says, "Let all God's angels **WORSHIP HIM**!!" and about His Son God says, "Your throne, **O GOD** will last for ever and ever!!"
The Roman Catholic church were the first to adopt the doctrine of the Trinity in AD 325, and stated that God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ and the holy spirit are One, **CO-EQUAL**, co-eternal and each is God, whole and entire.[
One of the Trinitarian's main arguements is found in Matthew 28:18-20: Jesus said, "**ALL AUTHORITY** in heaven and on earth has been given to **ME**. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to obey **EVERYTHING I COMMANDED** you. And surely I am with you **ALWAYS**!"
