I would like to see a category that was simply for providing general encouragement or something. As a poetess, I want to share some of the poems God has given me so they might encourage or bless other CDFF members. I put a couple on my profile, but I thought they would reach more people in the Forums. I've been trying to figure out what category would be best to do that in. ???

If not a new category, any suggestions for which category this would be best suited?

That was supposed to be "Encouraging Poems and Such", but I'm currently using a borrowed laptop, and I'm not very skilled with it. I was typing the title, and I must have hit the wrong thing and submitted it too soon.

I don't consider myself "country" just southern . Seriously, though, I don't even have an accent. I guess I just use some of the southern terminology AND SUCH.

I have been including some of my poetry in my posts in various categories recently. Here is one for you called "My Part":

Another trial, another test, more and more added to my burden.

My cries for help, for some relief, I wonder if He's heard them.

He said He wouldn't give me more than I could ever stand,

So, why is the weight so heavy, Lord, where's my helping hand?

Then in a firm but gentle voice, my Father began to say,

Why, my child, do you still carry that burden and why do you complain?

I told you to bring each and every burden and place it at my feet.

You see, I can't carry it for you, if you won't lay it down for me.

With that, I sincerely repented, laid it down, and backed away.

Suddenly feeling so much lighter, I freely began to give Him praise.

I've learned a valuable lesson that I'll forever hold in my heart.

God can't do all that He's promised until I do my part.
