Since before He left for Judea, Jesus knew that Lazarus was dead, and that He would raise him up according to God's plan. Yet, when "Jesus saw [Mary] weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. [and] Jesus wept." (John 11:33,35) |
