I heard one of their new songs on the radio, and it kind of made me sad. It just blended in to everything else on the station. Maybe some of their other new songs are better. My favorite Christian artist of all time is Project 86. I also really like August Burns Red, Underoath, Showbread. AND FIVE IRON FRENZY!!! But, y'know... they just didn't fit with the other bands. lol Post Reply
View Profile History	Christian Rock Posted : 11 Feb, 2010 07:54 PM i love Christian rock!!! i am a music fanatic :) there are so many bands out there, it's hard to narrow down favorites... but definitely skillet, tfk, and hawk nelson to name a few. i go to a lot of shows, and work as a volunteer for my local radio station at most of them now. He dove in to reach a wayward culture and generation that most of the US church only dared to get their feet wet on. I think the kids saw that if God would pick Larry to reveal the simple brutal truth, there might be hope for them giving up their petty excuses for not living in Christ. These are words from the Deja Vu Medley that showed the heart of Jesus Movement music: "Sipping whiskey from a paper cup You drown your sorrows 'til you can't stand up.
