Posted : 29 Jun, 2008 01:53 PM I always loved "The Lion King" and how easy it was for Simba to run away instead of fighting but his father's words kept ringing in his ears "Remember who you are." In this time of turmoil in our country, it is time to remember who we are and the rights that are slowly being taken away.... On this birthday week of America, Lord, help me remember the principles this country was founded on, not be ashamed of who I am, but rejoice in the freedoms I share because of the men and the women of this nation who paid the price that I may have a voice.. May the Christians of all denominations unite for the security and and unity of America and may we stand against the forces that would see us destroyed. Bless and protect our leaders and help them to make wise decisions on our behalf. For all her faults, she still is the greatest nation in the world! May your blessings continue to flow...
