Prayer for our nation's birthdayPosted : 29 Jun, 2008 11:09 PMLORD JESUS, we give YOU thanks and praises for blessing this country as YOU have in the past. But we have gone astray. Turn our hearts and our heads around to be more like you in every aspect. As it is written, 'If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves & pray & seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven & will forgive their sin and will heal their land' 2Chron. 7:14, I pray we turn from the wicked ways of abortion. I pray we turn away from homosexuality. I pray we bring YOU back into our public schools. I pray earnestly that you place a righteous president in office this November so that we may be lead to turn from our wicked ways. In the name of JESUS. |
