Ok...lets have some fun...and enjoyment! THE MENTOR I see as you are Not with eyes of prejudice or fault But with anticipation of your every move... Your voice is like a melody waiting to be sung I hang onto every note with envy Contemplating the next harmonious passage... Consumed by the thing I fear most I relish in the fragrance of courage and strength Emmanating from you and am totally captivated... Deep within me lies the essence of your soul That I might someday walk as you walk now Never measuring another by wealth but rather by character portrayed... Love does not describe what you mean to me My Teacher, Guide, and Friend May I someday be the reflection of this Priceless Encounter! How look for comfort from the One Who willed it done ? Omnipotent, He could have stopped it if He would; my son..... my son.... my soul is one vast "why"? his life was all too brief; he was so young to die. Where are you, Lord ? Where are you ? Gently He replied, "Just where I was, my dearly loved, When Mine was crucified". I AWOKE HEAVY I awoke heavy and heavy I prayed, face in the sun, heart in the shade. As smoke hangs low on a sullen day, my prayer hung there......... till I heard His voice, " This is the day that the Lord hath made; .............. Rejoice............ ! He is a man of God and I take him at his word,,, In His words,"A FAREWELL poem,, he said,,,, The time has come for me to leave. God has other plans for me. I must stay in his will. He has things for me to see It's time to just BE STILL ! So instead of thinking something is wrong or that he is upset,,, I have to believe he is a man that is walking and being led by God, So to that ,,,,( Paul) Rev we miss you very much,,,, God bless you buddy,,, You are a very good suprise to me,,,, how you said you did not known how to write poems but ended up being so great at it in just a few days,,,,, I enjoyed all I ever read from you,,, You are loved my friend and will be missed,,,please drop back in from time to time and stay for a quick poem or two and send a little love our way,,, and if I or any or the others are gone I am sure the newbies will enjoy and get fed from you as we all have,, Plus you can tell them you were here when this post started,,, he he he to funny,,, about that time it will be thousands posted,,, and all our poems will be in the history books of CDFF. To Rev22 ( paul), Your presence was a joy,,, Your energy made my day,,, Oh how in the birth of poems,,, We wanted you to stay. I should have loved to care for her once more as I did then long years before. I was a mother and she--- my child. Caring was joy. So when she is old and I am THERE, may she have daughters of her own to care ! *Mark 4:37 What of the folk back home that day the sudden storm swept Galilee ? Knowing the violence of those storms, the smallness of the craft,; did they abandon themselves to grief, or say, "The One who sails with them is He Who made the storm-filled universe, the height, the depth, the everywhere; the storm is fierce, the craft is small but He is there !" ? Why ? I lay my "whys" before Your Cross in worship kneeling, my mind too numb for thought, my heart beyond all feeling. And worshiping, realize that I in knowing You don't need a "why". I was telling my kindergarten class about my wonderful trip to Bath, North Carolina...and they were sharing summer stories...When it was time to leave, one of my kid's daddy came to pick him up. At that moment another very enthusiastic child came running up to him and said...Guess What !!!!! Ms. E. took a bath A-L-L weekend!:ROFL: What can I say...Out of the mouths of babes! ( I do mean children, for a little clarification)!:nahnah: I'm much better guys...thanks for the prayers. _________________________________________________ Now I lay me down to sleep I'm better now so I won't weep I'm pretty stong with things like this But yesterday I was amiss. I bared my heart and then received A healing touch out of your need I felt your prayers, recapped my joy, The emails sent, the little boy.. Were all a part of God's great touch The one I've felt and loved so much.. _________________________________________________ Thanks, y'all for every prayer prayed...I know you did it because I felt it...My daughter was the one to start me on this site....but you have kept me here and by us reaching out to each other...perhaps we can both be healed...I know I am making progress... So I'll leave you with this child's song....!!! I AM A PROMISE I AM A POSSIBILITY I AM A PROMISE WITH A CAPTIAL P I AM A GREAT BIG BUNDLE OF POTENTIALITY... Good morning Lord and I love you I thank you for this day... For all those precious promises You've spread along my way... Your beauty is so awesome, see Your voice so powerful... I want this day to be all yours Keep me away from me... Should you have other plans today You know I'll understand... It is a busy time out there With you a helping man... So I'll just stand on what I know The truth in every word... And try to walk in righteousness Like I know I should. I praise You from the depths of my soul....Please bless all my friends out there, meet them where they are, let them know you're real, even in a world that's not...Amen Remember the speed limit this morning and make sure God's buckled up next to you...Watch those bumps in the road...
