Victory over deathPosted : 21 Feb, 2011 02:37 PMTwo weeks ago, I turned a milestone in my life that I thought I would never get to see. I turned 40. Most of my extended family died before the big 40 and my father barely lived past it. I spent most of my thirties waiting for the grace of God to run out and my number to be called. It took a while for God to really convince me that I would reach forty. Well, the day came and I rejoiced in my spirit. Not only am I alive, but I am looking forward to living whatever life is left for me to live. |
