I'm wondering how women feel about men with psychiatric problems, those who have been in "mental" hospitals and on medications,etc.

How much of a stigma is attached with disability?

I was recommended to try online dating because my social skills and tics scare women.

And my anxiety,etc. makes it very difficult for me to leave my apartment.

I am not even sure what it means to date.

It can be rough. I would say definately pray about it and ask God to send you and understanding and patient woman. All relationships require work from both people. I would say be upfront with any a possible date and let her know what it's going on. But with that being said you would have to work on it too... as in staying on any meds that you are on and working on some socialization. People will judge regardless but is sounds like you have a good heart and one day God will guide a deserving woman to you. God bless and I hope that helps some.
