I'm a slightly quirky 63 year old, (actually 30 with 33 years experience), old fashioned romantic who loves the Lord, music,(especially classical, slow "bluesy" jazz, solo piano & 70's rock), movies, (except horror/slasher types), kissin & cuddlin, writing, photography, long walks in the country on a cold day, long drives in the country on a hot day, time with my son, cooking and kitchen gadgets, DIY projects, Green Bay Packer football and St Louis Cardinal baseball, a great cup of coffee, traveling, fishing, boating (when I can), audio/video equipment, computers, a beautiful sunup or sundown, the mountains, the ocean, the northern woods, watching a good comic, the Christmas season, someone who realizes that to truly "make love" has little to do with sex, and I�m still dumb enough to believe in romance.
I've been called a "contemporary renaissance" man by friends due to my many varied interests. I can sit and watch a documentary on the string theory of the universe, followed by a Bugs Bunny cartoon and enjoy each of them equally. I feel comfortable in just about any social situation and with any group of people. I�m inquisitive about everything and a learning junkie, (I want to know a little bit about everything).
When I have to be serious, I�m as serious as a heart attack, but when not, life is too short not to enjoy it and have fun, ( I still like to stomp a mud puddle while I walk in the rain). I'm very passionate about what I feel and believe, and just as passionate against what I don't. I tend to always give someone the benefit of the doubt until/unless they show me otherwise, I have a very vivid and creative imagination which I try to incorporate into everything I do. Finally, I'm a single parent of a 17yr old son of whom I'm very proud, and who constantly keeps me challenged, (I have the gray hairs to prove it).
I would like to meet a woman who is a non smoker, (I quit in 2000), who loves the same kinds of music I do, is intelligent and can converse on a large number of different subjects, (especially current events), who still believes in loyalty & commitment, who can give and receive in all areas of a relationship with equal passion, who enjoys doing things together, who understands what "making love" really means, who will encourage and help me to improve without being critical, and allow me to do the same for her, who will always put the Lord and her family first, (in that order), who knows when to be a grownup and that it's ok sometimes to act like a kid, who is affectionate and not afraid to show it. Oh yea, a great kisser is a major plus LOL.
