I'm an archaeologist, based mainly in Edinburgh. I enjoy travel and I try to see as much of the world as I can. I like to try new food, and I am searching for love because I'm also a very unscientific romantic. I am N. Irish but settled in Edinburgh after University. I do travel for my work , usually I am in Eastern Europe for the summer months each year to excavate and to teach students, which is great fun. I love to be outside in nature, going hiking and horse riding, so I'd prefer an outdoorsy person who loves to travel - someone to go on adventures with.
Folks sometimes ask why I'm still single - especially as a Christian. Well, it's been my experience that single Christian men want to marry mainly because they want kids. God's plan for me, given I'm 40 now, doesn't seen to include that as a future part of life, at least biologically, so be aware of that before you decide to write!
