About me:
I love camping, hiking, fishing beach .. anything in nature, anything near the water, lakes rivers ocean etc..
I am an artist of wood and other mixed media

I am laid back, do not get upset easily, or have any anger issues. I am very loving and affectionate. At the same time, I am usually very organized, focused, and goal driven, with plenty of room for constant spontaneity which adds the spice of life. :-)))
Even though I now live in Raleigh, I grew up on a farm in a very rural area
When I was a child we did many things the old way..
yes we had electricity and running water... but we grew a lot of our own food and canned the extra to eat in the winter, we kept bees, made wine, had chickens , horses, etc.... ate wild game...
So, I love camping, hiking, fishing, beach .. anything in nature
I would like to find a soulmate who is interested in living a more independent lifestyle ..a lifestyle that does not rely so heavily on modern supply chains that could easily fail. I'm planning on buying 20 to 40 acres about an hour outside of Raleigh.. and over the next 5 years transitioning from my current business into producing my own design in a workshop on the property and possibly having a series of rural log cabins to rent on airbnb to people that want to experience primitive living, possibly have a larger builing for hosting wedding and other gruop events such as youth mission camps..
My ideology is: With proper planning many of life's problems can be avoided. But when problems do invariably develop, I never run from them. On the contrary, I calmly face them head on with a positive attitude and focused determination to reach, as much as possible, mutually beneficial outcomes for everyone involved.
So I am searching for the "total package" in a relationship.
Which, I believe, should start with a true friendship.
A true friend, with singleness of heart, believes in the intrinsic, inherent, priceless value of their fellow
